Stock management

I am currently building an e-commerce website using magento and I will be holding my own stock. The only thing is I want to be able to keep track of my stock in some piece of software.
I would like it to also do record keeping of the stock movements (price in, price out, purchase orders, invoicing).
Anyone got any recommendations?
What are you other warriors using?

    You can use excel (or any spreadsheet program that supports simple formulas) to do this. I do it for my business. Though its not an ecommerce but inventory managements has the same rules everywhere.

    All you need to do is, prepare what all you want to keep a track off and then decide how many sheets you will require. I maintain everything within a single workbook.

    I've heard good reports about Ordoro. There's also Linn Works which has been mentioned several times on threads here on WF.

    Ordoro automatically integrates with Shopify, Bigcommerce, Magento, Shopsite, 3dCart, Amazon, and eBay. I'd go that route and be sure to use one of those carts.

    We use Magento and evaluated almost every order/inventory system on the market. After considering everything we selected Embedded ERP.

    It has several big advantages over systems like Ordero and Linnworks.

    1. Unlike Ordero and Linnworks there are no monthly fees. The upfront cost for Embedded ERP was about $1400 including install. Linnworks and Ordero would have been nearly $300/month ongoing - forever.

    2. Embedded ERP is built into Magento instead of a separate software package. That makes things significantly easier instead of importing/exporting orders and inventory and going back and forth between 2 systems.

    3. Embedded ERP is totally open source so it can be customized if necessary.

    The only caveat we have so far with Embedded ERP is the documentation could be a bit better. Its a powerful system and has lots of features but sometimes it takes more effort to understand the documentation. The company is based in France and sometimes it obvious that they are not native English speakers.

    I use Veeqo to track my stock. Currently using Amazon, eBay and Magento, and it's doing the job nicely as a multi channel software connecting my stock. POS is also integrated, so worth a look if you're after that too.
