What would you charge?
I am about to give an idea of how much I will charge to build a members only website. It would have a home page with 7 main pages in total with many subpages. All but the home page would require username and passwords to access but once the member is in all pages will be accessible. The site requires a ton of information to be digitized and uploaded, manuals that are currently off-line have to be turned into PDF documents with a new standardized design, video uploaded and imbedded.... Question is guys: what would you think I can charge for the initial design and deployment? And secondly, what would be a reasonable monthly fee for maintenance, hosting, addition of more material over time? Would you charge a monthly fee, a monthly fee that is set to a minimum and then an hourly rate attached to that for all extra work over and above hosting or stick to an hourly rate only?? Some advise would be welcome.
