Kraft Bubble shipping envelopes

Where can I buy the most cost effective bubble shipping envelopes. Man, do they range in price. I've go to Uline, and a 8.5x12 was 19 cents. Someone told me they found them for as little as .12 cents. Also, what does the #0, #1, #2, #3 mean on the envelopes? I'm guessing it is the weight of the envelopes. Is there a typical standard # for mailing small items? When is it better to ship in a box?

Look at the catalogs of the various packaging companies. Personally I had always used Uline. You might be able to find occasional discounts at the office products sites.

You'll also want to factor in the cost of shipping the packaging to you. If you can drive to one of their distribution centers then you could save yourself quite a bit of money.

I saved a LOT of money by reusing boxes that I would get from businesses. It saved quite a bit of money for me.

I have used U-line and they have a quick turn around from order to delivery at your door. Their are other companys out there but have never used them.

Yeah, you can't beat those going-out-of-business opportunities. Hopefully you don't become one of those opportunities yourself.

My favorite is "e-lite" from Welcome to E-Litemailer - Deals on Shipping Supplies, Bubble Mailers Manufacturer & Distributor! -

The different numbers mean they are a different standard size.

Quality is good, the adhesive is actually sticky (where Kraft requires additional tape to pass through most postal carriers abuse), and the DVD sized mailers actually fit DVDs really well where as most other ones need to be crammed in there.

Ebay has good prices on this stuff. Also I believe the #0, #1 ect are weight categories for the paper.

We use a local distributor now for shipping supplies. You may want to look into that, sometimes their pricing is extremely competitive and the local personal touch is an added bonus.

Beforehand, we used esupplystore.com religiously for all the poly bubble mailers. I'd be surprised if they could be found cheaper anywhere else.
