I'm hoping to get some feedback on a site I put up earlier this year. A friend was sourcing the products and I was managing the web store.

We've made some sales, but nothing significant.

I'm hoping to get some advice on how I could better setup an online store to offer little craft, jewelry type items for sale.

I've tried running some facebook ads targeting people within our state and so far I have a list of about 100 customers.

      Hey Bruha,

      I just took a peek and just off top you might get more signups if you tempt your visitors with some previews of your merchandise, there's some room under the picture if you don't want to change your current design too much. I'm guesssing your niche is women's and kids clothing, but it's not really clear what you offer.

      Just Took a look at the store, and the heart bracelets are cute, nice incentive
      Maybe the Clothing could be separated, it looks a bit odd with the accessories. You need a lot more stuff in there! Looks like jewelry and craft categories would fit in great.

      Have you tried Shopify? I set up a store through them a while back (via alksense's recommendation) and it was easy and the site comes out looking really nice.

    Why are you forcing people to sign up before they can see your offers?

    If you really must force people to sign up first (and I believe that is the wrong way) show them your store and then display a light box sign up -

    That is a good point Ecommerce. I was using some other sites as templates to build mine, but really the goal is to sell them first on the products I have. If the product quality is good, they will want to sign up for the email alerts right?

    Maybe get a tripod for your camera, or hire a pro photographer. Also the side background is a bit distracting.

    Not sure what you built the site in but it looks a bit dated compared to the Twitter Bootstrap and other stuff that's popular these days.

      I agree, change the background. It takes too much attention and takes all focus from the content section. These bright background colors are also bad for eyes, can make you feel dizzy.
