Can someone recommend an affordable course that shows you how to setup an Amazon store, find products to sell, etc?

Thanks in advance.

In my opinion nothing beats the experience of doing it yourself. Just find one product to list and practice with. It's pretty intuitive when you get into it.

    Best of luck.

I also have a private group that closes tonight that I am going to start teaching on Wednesday.
I watched your video, you have made some good points. But i am sorry $800 for 30mins training is ridiculous..On amazon it is more important what you sell + who you sell than how you sell.

You don't have to sell to make money on Amazon. You can simply sign up for their affiliate program and build links. If you have a lot of Twitter or Facebook followers you can easily cash in on this. Having a blog helps a lot too! I created a website with a quick and easy tool that allows you to enter your Amazon ID and make cool sets of products for you to post on social media outlets. Please check it out!

Agreed. I failed pretty miserably with my first attempt on Amazon but now sell books on the platform as a side thing. It's like eBay, a Marketing channel first and foremost, and the end goal should always be to own your own platform.

Agree 100%. I didn't start making money until I stopped buying peoples guides. This was many years ago. Now I test, test and test..when something sells I go in that direction.

In all the product launch videos they make it sound simple -find a cheap product that you can brand and then do some promotion....maybe it's really that simple. I got the proven amazon course but I'm still going through it at the moment. There is a lot of stuff in PAC and one section covers private labeling. It doesn't appear as slick as ASM but a lot cheaper. Like someone else said, it's worth having a go for $500-$1000 it might cost you on sourcing and buying products.

@Hartman.. I have to agree it does sound sound , simple, well maybe not "simple" as everyone would be doing it , but a bit like common sense, when you put a few bits and pieces , together. Obviously, there are crucial factors like ranking, and reviews...

    On Amazon you need

1 - Great photos (don't just use the manufacture photos) use your own and get someone on Elance to make them look great

2 - Great descriptions - Most Amazon products don't have a great description. Write yours with passion and give as much detail as possible.

Most of all you need a 'Quality Product' - This will give you great reviews. From good reviews your sales will grow AND help outsell lower price competitors.

If you need help please get in contact.

I started to watch your video.... big yawn, I hate these videos that go on and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on, and on and on and on, with no substance, quit after a couple of minutes

Totally agree with Andrewc5, just get on there and start selling something, even it's a very limited number of products.

James - Did you see my review? If you click on the YouTube badge under my name you'll see it.

I've posted my review video before, but looks like someone keeps requesting it to be taken down. However, others can still have outside links.

You may not like the video and that is fine, but please don't under estimate the quality of the content.

For $17 I truly believe it's the best quality ecommerce training around (even if you only do it for a month)

It would help you start sourcing your own products and selling online successfully.

The basic gig is to find best selling items in the various niches Amazon has. Stick with $9 to $40 products according to the two guys that put out that product you reference.

Check with ImportExport for a report and coaching he offers to find the products in China or other places. I think it is about $40 or so, but I don't remember.

Tim's post in this revived thread might leave some people disappointed, so I am correcting a couple of things in it.

My book now costs $97. It has been massively expanded since Tim got his copy (Tim all book buyers get free lifetime updates, so let me know if you haven't got the latest.)

The link Tim included is also obsolete. It should be: Learn To Successfully Import From China and The Rest of The World - Proven China Sourcing

My team and I have worked harder than you can imagine to earn these sorts of simple & powerful endorsements. Thank you much for the support of the PAC - it means a lot to the entire team that's relentlessly improved and updated that course keeping it so creative for years.

Instead of focusing on "Private Label" vs. other sourcing strategies on Amazon we are encouraging sellers to learn how to find high demand products that are being LOOKED FOR by consumers, but which have ZERO Amazon sellers.

          How can you do this?

By digging into the PPC stats on Amazon (using a formula that ONLY we have developed fully, but anyone can try by digging around a bit in paid ads) for example you can uncover products that are being looked for by the "masses", but no one is selling a product with those keywords.

          Does it work?

One of our instructors has a team of 40 people working this system full time uncovering dozens of great product niches weekly and trust me - they DON'T CARE if it's a "private label" or a retail/wholesale opportunity. The point is, you find the IN DEMAND product niche FIRST and then fill the need however makes the most sense.

Digging into Amazon's paid ads for the DATA is well worth it. Don't use ads to sell your products, use ads to uncover incredible untapped niche markets!
