Moving a site from yahoo to shopify- will it effect rankings?

Will moving an online store from yahoo webhosting to shopify effect the rankings of the site or likely not?

The domain will still be the same but with a changed host. Seems like it would likely be similar. Also the yahoo design on our site is a little confusing as a web developer worked on a custom theme so it also seems like meta tags and social media like blogs may be easier to do on shopify.

You probably want to set up 301 redirects of your old pages to the new pages so any old link juice goes with you.

It should work as you only move to a new host and not a new domain name
