Tracking affiliate sales through coupon codes

Any suggestions for a plug-in, shopping cart, or program (ANYTHING!) that tracks affiliate sales through the use of coupons, instead of affiliate links? I've only found iDevAffiliate with WooCommerce as an option but looking for something a bit easier.

Basically, instead of using an affiliate link, the affiliates would promote their special coupon and be able to track sales when it's used.

Thanks!

We use Affliliate Plus which is a Magento extension. It has an option for affiliate coupons. We use it extensively and it works well.

Okay I'll look into it. I typically shy away from Magento because the developers are costly and I'm just testing the waters with something right now.

I was thinking of creating a similar program for my e-commerce store. Do affiliates go for the coupon code instead of tracking cookies/established programs like clickbank, sharealink, etc.?

I guess it depends on your niche! Some niches no way, but the specific one I'm in uses it a lot. Most of the sites have this functionality coded for them but I need a cheap and easy solution.

Well I run my e-commerce store on Shopify. They have discount codes you can create. Custom or randomly generated. You can choose flat amount off, free shipping or % discount. You can also choose the expiration if you want. Also it tells you how many times the coupon is used.

But I doubt you would want to switch platforms.

Thanks but I would never use Shopify even if they paid me!

There's a ton of platforms that use coupons but I'm specifically looking for something that's set-up to track affiliates by coupon code use instead of link. I basically need the affiliate reporting to show coupon use for them.

We notice that when affiliate publicizes offers OFFLINE (newsletters , signs, flyers, billboards, magazines etc.) a coupon code works better. For online offers a link works fine.
