If you don't have much content then what makes you think people are just going to go there and buy something?

You need to sell it to them in your own unique way.

So you are using Amazon as a dropshipper? Or, are you carrying the same product that Amazon is carrying, competing with other sellers for the same niche? Explain, please.

      Hi Justray,

I'm using Amazon Associate account to promote some toys, I using Covert Store Builder Theme to search & add products. Pulling traffic is not easy as mention in their sales letter, especially for newbie.

I see from several posts above that you're not the only one who has a low budget at the moment which means you will have to invest your time, instead of money, in promoting your Amazon Store by using free or very low cost methods

Financially it's not easy for people at times is it?

Do you have $5 a month to invest in a comprehensive training course (15 tutorial modules on free methods) that, once put into action, will bring in large numbers of people to your store to buy?

If so, PM me and I'll point you at the course that has helped many of my students make more than enough money to take advantage of the power of paid methods.

You'll have to buy it. Either use Google product ads or Amazon Product ads or both.

SEO and original content could take 6 months to a year to yield any real traffic.

    Good Luck

Yes, other than buying good targeted traffic your Amazon Store will be a bit like having a greatest possible website - but in the biggest shopping mall in the world, the Internet.

It will be very lonely, very unprofitable and hellish frustrating for you

Make sure you have a Budget and do some research Marketing your products on Amazon web site. If you have no content and no SEO , then paid advertising is the way to go.

I think Allan James has summed it up best—if you're short on financial resources for paying to get high quality traffic then you'll have to invest your time in trying to do that.

Amazon repricing software that helps you win the Buy Box more often. eBay repricing also available.

I was in the same boat myself.
The worst was having to edit the product descriptions for the over 1000 products from amazon on my site to make the content somewhat unique and get a good keyword ranking.

      Good luck to you

You're in for a long haul, it is NEVER as easy as the sales letters make it seem

One thing you've got going for you though is you found this forum, it's the best of the best of the best..

Spend your time learning as much as you can from here, but pay attention to the amount of 'thanks' and credibility of whom you decide to listen to. (info on profiles)

Just think like everyone is trying to sell you something, and be wary of what advice you take.

3 things I'd say to start with?

    1. Educate yourself on Copywriting, because it all comes down to your words.
    Check this Copywriting post

    2. Look for the best rated products/advice/websites in this thread

    3. Get a war room membership, it's worth it. Again, be wary of what's being provided, even if free.

Ok, 4 things. Use Market Samurai for keyword research, and MOZ offers some pretty good tools as well, they offer a free month trial and market samurai offers a free week trial, so between them, bust your ass and get your game plan set before you have to pay. Of course, once you start bringing in money then you'll want to purchase them so you can expand easier.

Good luck, and don't give up!

**I don't always make it back to check on threads, so if you'd like me to elaborate feel free to PM me, I try to make sure to check my inbox regularly and am happy to help..

I wouldn't have pulled a $9k week w/Teespring etc without the help of others, so it's time to pay it forward.
I can make a little room in my life for that. ;)
