Need Advice On Building My First Affiliate Site

I am building my first Amazon affiliate "niche" site. I am going to sell Swatch and Invicta watches. These are watches that cost between $60 and $200, but look like more expensive watches like Rolex.

My thoughts are that I have a better chance of selling a $100 Invicta watch that looks like a Rolex than a real $5,000+ Rolex. I also own a couple of these watches and know they are well made.

I am using WordPress and I am wondering how many pages I should make it. I was thinking about posting 30 different mens watches to start. Is this a good number?

I already have some sources for reviews and I have written a few pages explaining that these are high quality watches that only look expensive. I have some YouTube review videos in the works.

What is a good theme to use for Amazon affiliates?

And what plug-ins do you recommend that I use?

At this time, I don't have much of a budget to pay for commercial themes and plugins, but I have built several WordPress sites and know how WordPress works.

Any suggestions and advice would be appreciated.

In terms of the amount of product/designs you put up to begin with depends on how your fulfilment works. If you have stock yourself, storage, cost of stock and any storage costs may make 30 styles a bit overkill (dependant on how many of each style you store of course).

However if you plan on getting your stock once an order is in, then I think 30 styles should give your site enough depth and variety.

    Good luck!
