Regarding Amazon Affiliate Programs

Hey Guys! Beginner here!

I have three main questions regarding the Amazon Affiliate program

1.) I just created an Amazon Affiliate account on the "www.amazon.com" domain Does this mean I cannot promote products from the amazon.co.uk store? Or any other products that are sold on the different amazon websites?

Does this means I have to open an amazon.co.uk account if I want to promote products to the UK?

2.) When you log into your amazon affiliate account you will enter a page that allows you to "search for products", What I would like to know is how can I see how much affiliate commission i receive per sale of that specific product?

3.) I've heard that when someone clicks on your affiliate link on your website they don't necessarily have to purchase the item that you were promoting for your to collect a commission. Is this true?

Thanks a lot guys!~

This is a better question for the main forum since this is for building your own commerce sites but:

    1. Yes
    2. Starts at 4% and goes to 8%
    3. Yes

    1. Yes, both are separate entities and both have their own commission structure

    2. You can't see that. Only once you make a sale, will you see it under your "Earnings Report" - The % depends on how many items you've sold and changes throughout the month

    3. That's the best part about Amazon - 70% of the stuff that I receive commissions on aren't even being promoted by me
