Drop Shipping from Overstock/Wayfair - Legal or Not?

I am reading mixed things on if it's legal, or allowed, to drop-ship buy selling on your own site then going to Overstock or Wayfair and placing an order and just using the clients info for the shipping.

Does anyone here do this now? Have they caught on to you sending multiple "gifts" using the same credit card? Do they have any policies in place that would disallow ordering from their site if you are drop-shipping?

    Drop shipping isn't illegal in the US, but its just frowned upon by ebay + amazon. Address ban rates and blacklisting isn't too much of an issue though.

      I know drop-shipping is legal, but I don't know if I would even call what I plan on doing drop-shipping or not since the seller is not aware that I am selling to a 3rd party on their behalf.
