Magento Upsell After Checkout

I was wondering if anybody has ever gotten a magento cart to do upsell after checkout.

I was interested in switching from my clunky hosted shopping cart with the worst checkout flow to something a bit nicer, but that upsell after checkout is a big feature that I need and I cannot see magento doing it. Does anybody have suggestions?

1shoppingcart? premiumwebcart? Or anything else that would be considered good and capable?

    There are several Magento extensions that provide upsell features *during* checkout but I have not seen anything that offers upsell afterwards. Here is 1 example that allows you to set rules to target customers based on different parameters.

    Depending on exactly what you want to do it should not be too difficult to show the customer certain promotions after they checkout based on what they just purchased. But this would require a bit of custom work.

    Probaly people would want to download their products then to start checking up-sells, what is the purpose of using up sells after checkout.
