Hello Friends,

I am a new user and I dont really want to trouble you with specifics,

Im just curious if there is a way to automatically drop ship products.

for example,

- someone orders a product on my eccomerce site,

- I collect payment

- and then a script automatically places the same order with drop shipper.

- And then sends them payment and shipping details.

which would save some time, and me being directly in front of the computer when the order is placed.

Cheers

I use the Volusion platform and it does for me exactly what you are describing…. However, I get the impression you are looking for a self hosted solution

Hey there! Solid Commerce can help you out with that.

If you're using vendors, suppliers, and drop shippers, getting everything synced up can be a bit of a pain. Especially if you're selling on more than just one channel. I've seen a lot of online sellers get really excited about expansion, before realizing that they don't have systems in place to make sure they're communicating regularly with suppliers and drop shippers.

I'm not sure how big your inventory is, but we can definitely set you up with the exact functionality that you're looking for.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for your advice friends,

I'm in the formative stages, and I would like to drop ship because I might start out with very little inventory since I don't have a large apartment.

luckily for me, I am a front end developer so making websites in a short time is easy.

I'll most likely use opencart as my Shopping cart OS, i also have experience with wordpress, so i might look into WooCommerce

I just had no concept of how to forward drop shipment orders to the supplier and take them from the customer simultaneously, so Im pleased to see that this is possible.

I saved this thread in my subscriptions, I'll reference to it later!
