There are tonnes of Shopify apps out there. Which ones are your favorite, and why?

Here are my favorites:

Yotpo - Awesome product reviews app. Send automatic follow-up e-mails to customers asking them to review their purchases. Also has in-built social sharing options with coupons to incentivize sharing

JustUno - Great free app that installs a little sliding box/popup that gives discounts to people who follow/like your store on social networks

LeadDyno - Affiliate management app.

Fliptabify - Helps you set up integrated Fb stores that automatically update when your products are updated.

Abandon App - Great app to recover lost sales from cart abandonment. Automatically sends e-mails to people who abandoned your cart and offers a discount to complete purchase.

Curebit - Customer referral platform that offers incentives to customers for referring friends.

I use all of them. I'm not affiliated with any of them. Just thought it would be helpful to share this with you guys. Would appreciate it if you could share your favorites too.

I can add some insight to the question about ROI from RetentionGrid. Looking at a quick snapshot of 52 shops who have used our app to send campaigns, as of right now they have generated just over $1.6 million in sales from repeat customers as a direct result. In terms of cost, the plans are subscription based, from $39 per month to $249 depending on the shop size.

Ambassador, Refersion and LeadDyno are three that seem popular (based on how many times they've come up in threads/conversations)

I use LeadDyno, works fine for me purposes.

Only physical product. For digital stuff I guess you can throw it up on CJ, SaS, CB and the other affiliate networks out there.

I don't know too much about those affiliate networks, but with apps like refersion, leaddyno and ambassador you can recruit and select your own affiliates. So basically you have powerful affiliate management tools that allow you to place affiliates in different reward tiers, cut them out if they don't do well, promote them if they do. They'll also get a personal dashboard where they can see stats of people they sent to your store and how many sales they made. Furthermore, you can also set up automated weekly e-mail reports to each affiliate.

        Thanks,
Some of the apps I listed in the original post have free plans. Once your store is profitable you can always upgrade and unlock more powerful features.

Trying to decide between Refersion and LeadDyno for an affiliate app on Shopify. Anyone tried both of them. Pros? Cons? Thanks in advance!

    • Our company uses LeadDyno right now. It's been about a month since we started with them, and so far so good.

If any of you are fashion/jewelry retailers, have you heard of Dressy? It's a virtual dressing room app for customers to "try on" clothes on their body...still in beta, but sounds pretty cool. Really curious to see if anyone has tried it out and what they think.
