Canadians selling on Amazon.com

My first post.

I am looking at purchasing Jim Cockrum's PAC course. From my research it looks like it has a huge international online community.

My question is anyone here from Canada (or any other nation) having success
using FBA on amazon.com? I know you need a US bank account/address/phone number to join but what are challenges have people faced?

Also, is Amazon.ca lucrative enough to get started on seeing it doesn't have nearly the amount of products it's US counterpart has?

Any and all suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

Yeah...here is a great link from Jordan Malik outlining what is needed and solutions for us Canadians.

Sell on Amazon from U.K. or Australia or China etc.

I would love to know how lucrative Amazon.ca is cause I think it would be a great way to get my feet wet. I have zero experience in selling anything so less barriers to start the better.

If you don't live in the U.S. you can still have your inventory shipped directly to a U.S. based partner/labeling service once you are set up. The partner will prep your inventory for Amazon and send it in for you. Amazon U.S. is the largest market - but we have students from all over the world selling into multiple Amazon based countries. Our student base is very international.

Seems like Amazon does have FBA for Canadians: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/seller-accou...opic=201023500

Not sure if you would then be restricted to send your package to a Canadian warehouse only...
And then would your items show on Amazon.com?
Would you be able to sell to the US?
Where can we find information about that?

From my understanding, and I could be wrong but...

      1. FBA on Amazon.ca is for CDN warehouses only.
      2. Products on Amazon.ca will not show up on Amazon.com
      3. There are no agreements with shipping companies in Canada for cheaper shipping to the FBA warehouses within Canada like Amazon.com has with UPS in the U.S.

This is all the info as I have interpreted it over the last week of research. I could be wrong. That's why I started this thread in part to see if selling from Canada is even viable for someone who lives here and needs to ship their products from here. Seems like a huge shipping hit is inevitable.
