Woocommerce help-- hiding out of stock products
Hi folks. I sought help over on the WP forums but no help there.
I am selling shirts with three variations: Color, Size, and "Saying". Front end availability should go in that order as well. Both Color and Size are selectable by buttons, while "Saying" is a drop-down. The only way of knowing whether a variation is in stock is to ADD TO CART, after which I get the prompt:
"Sorry, this product is unavailable. [...]"
I want all options (esp drop-down) to be grayed out if they're out of stock.
Checking "Hide out of stock" within WC settings has no effect on the front end.
I have the latest version of WC (2.1.7) and from what I can gather there was an issue in migrating this seemingly standard functionality to WC 2.X. Am I missing something here? Is there a plugin available?
