So I have a site that is starting to rank for flower delivery <city name> where city is actualy a fairly large metropolitan city.

Only one slight problem, I am not sure what to do with it?

Since there is plenty of expertise here on this forum, what would some of you folks recommend is the best way to monetize this

Sell or lease it to a flower shop, what kind of traffic is it getting? What kind of content do you have on the site?

I would agree with Josh and you could also make it an advertisement board of sorts and have several businesses bid for spots on the page.

  • Start a flower delivery service

I would try and cut a deal with a local flower service and funnel the leads to them. You could even build an online ordering system and let the local flower shops fulfill the order. Charge $50 and pay the flower shop $25 to deliver.

Agreed with the posts in this thread.

      a) Try and sell it to a local flower company! If your site is already getting good traffic, that's a bit of a no-brainer.

      b) Alternatively, you could maintain control of the sites, and then set up a type of affiliate program, or simply sell the leads to relevant businesses in your area.

I think both of these suggestions are awesome ideas.

I agree with above. You should lease it to a local flower shop. It makes sense and you would both make money if you get the flower shop business and charge them for the leads.
