Looking For Brand Cosmetics Wholesalers?

Hi All,

I would appreciate some help.
I'm doing some research on behalf of my wife.
She want to sell brand name cosmetics such as Rimmel here in our country.
We are looking for cosmetics at a good price, because our currency is 10 times weaker than the US Dollar and excluding about 47% customs and VAT.

I've searched the net for brand cosmetics wholesalers, but a lot of them charge more than the eBay sellers.

Where do the eBay sellers get there stock from if they can charge lower than a lot of the wholesales I've come across?

Can someone perhaps point us into the right direction to find genuine wholesale suppliers for Rimmel, Maybelline, and other brands.

Thanks.

Your best bet is to call, write or email to Maybelline and other brands that you would like and express an interest to be a retailer of the product, and do they have either distributors they work with either in country or that will ship overseas? Just be prepared as there may be a few things you run into:

They may not sell to your country for any number of reasons.
They may require certain purchase requirements. One high end retailer I talked to required a minimum $250,000 purchase and $25,000 worth of merchandise per quarter. As you can imagine, it was a bit out of my price range.

Did you ever consider private labeling cosmetics from a manufacturer? If you are taking inventory this is your best bet.

First of all...what is your country?

Second, one of the best places to find wholesalers, closeouts, and all other for HBA and cosmetics would be Linked groups. They have about 30 active groups all with people who are either the end source or a connect to the endsource directly.

If doing this method (which you should explore) two things to know..

First some of the groups you have to get accepted to, like a membership. Its free though. Second...stay the away from brokers who are not directly connected to the main supplier. I have found suppliers (directly to there warehouse) for many HBA, closeouts, and clothing.

Thank you so much for your information, would you please share more information on the "GROUPS"? I am looking for authentic wholesale cosmetics too.
