Can someone please explain why the majority of websites that offer drop shipping services have poor website and visual design? These websites do not look very trustworthy but are gifted with being highly ranked on Google.

To be honest, I haven't found a single dropship website with a design that impresses or gives any assurances regarding company credibility.

Do you know any dropship websites that look professional/trustworthy?

karmaloop.com is one of my favorite sites that drop ships a lot of products. They do well because their brand is so strong.

Do you mean the wholesaler/distributor that dropships or a site that dropships most of their products to customers?

If you are talking about wholesalers/dropshippers, their concern is shipping product more then graphics and design.

If you are talking about companies that dropship to customers, eBags - Shop Bags and Accessories - Free Shipping - eBags.com and Hayneedle | Shop Home Furnishings, Decor, & Outdoor Furniture Online both dropship...

Sorry, I was referring to wholesalers/distrubtors who dropship like Dropship UK (Dropship UK - FREE UK based dropshipping. Over 5000 products to choose from. Make money now and sign up today! No hidden costs. Reliable UK Company.)

I understand where priorities lie for these companies but surely sustaining trust and credibility via design is high on the list? Many of these companies are set up to scam people and people are becoming more aware of this. This doubt can be greatly reduced with a website that looks trustworthy.

I don't use sites like the one you linked to above, but the companies that I do use to dropship products don't put a lot into web design. It doesn't make their products any worse or their service any worse. For me, it's more about the products that are available and how fast the company can take care of the customers and the cost to me.

The problem I have with these websites is that they do not fill me with the confidence needed to be able to consider dealing with them. Many of them do not look professional and they look like companies that will not be around for the long run. Surely a successful dropship company would invest in a modern and user friendly website to give confidence to potential customers? The poor websites I see look like companies that will go bust sooner rather than later - this is not ideal for someone who is looking to start dropshipping products for their own business.

When looking at websites I need to be assured that the business I am looking to invest my time and money will provide a professional and trustworthy service. Because of this requirement I have yet to find a suitable dropship provider.

My advice is to get over it. Many of them don't give a rat's you know what about web design. Here's one I do business with. Home Page - Viking Wholesale - Wholesale Drop Ship swords - Drop Ship Knives - Paul Chen and Samurai swords
Terrible web design, excellent service and excellent, good selling products. They ship out a ton of products daily and have great customer service. Most of the wholesalers I deal with have crummy websites, but they are good at what they do, which is dropship products.
