How An Ex-Con Turned His Life Around And Built an $80k per Month Ecommerce Business in One Month!

Was this former felon just lucky or what? With almost no marketing experience he used Faebook and Shopify to start a $80,000 per month drop shipping eCommerce site.

You can read his story here.

A lot of people believe that all Network Marketing, MLM and Internet Marketing schemes are just scams but lots of people are making profits almost by accident. Although this guy claims that there is something about ex-felons that make them good candidates for being entrepreneurs.

He says it was his "Drive" that caused him and others like him to succeed.

What do you think? Was it mainly due to his drive or just plain luck?

Cheers,
SteveSki

I think he had drive and was clever.

The key was to have a product in mind first. I simply looked for items that were selling well elsewhere. Once I found a product, I would create my own offer for that item and see if it was something people would buy from my online store. If they did, I'd find a supplier that was willing to dropship that product for me.

The mistake that many other people make is that they look for a drop shipper and then try to sell what that supplier has. When you do that, you limit yourself. Once I identify a product, I simply email the retailers that are selling the item already and ask if they are willing to drop ship. I was surprised at how many actually said yes.

It looks like he found a sale firsts then found the supplier - very clever.

This is a great example of bootstrapping from next to nothing. He started with just $60 in facebook ads and grew it from there. Who knows what would have happened if those first ads hadn't resulted in $1000 of sales. But they did, and the rest is history.

    Gotta love case studies!

Most failed immediately. Some were sustainable for a short period of time. But only one stands out as an immediate success, and that one is National Parks Depot."
