What is pending status in woocommerece ?

Hi guys,

I saw one strange thing in my eCommerce.
I working with woocommerce and noticed that there was one order from the website, but for some reason the status of the order was pending.
Any one know what is that means ? i try to search on this on the internet but didnt fine a lot of informations.

Any help are welcome.

    Often times this occurs when using a payment provider like PayPal. The person ads items to the shopping cart, goes through the entire order process and submits the order. The next step is that they're routed to PayPal to complete their order. Buy they don't complete the order for one reason or another and woocommerce marks it as pending.

    So basically it's an indication of an incomplete order.

      Exactly - so the order is still pending and requiring payment to be finalized.

      There are a lot of tools out there to reclaim what they call "Lost Carts" - this method allows you to contact these buyers and remind them of their purchases

      May be worth looking into.

    I have heard good things about Bronto.com though I am not sure if they integrate with Woo Commerce, but using a WordPress system I am sure there are many extensions out there that may do it as well.

        Now i noticed that there was a buying in the website via paypal and i can see the money in the paypal account but in the woo-commerce i don't see the deal....I have strange things in my woocommerce.

        Do you have reasonable explanation maybe ?
