eCommerce and catering Business
Greetings. Anyone have any experience implementing an eCommerce solution for a catering company? I like to craft this in WordPress.
1. On-line ordering with 50% deposit via Paypal at time of placing order.
2. Generates an emailed invoice for balance due 7 days before date of catered function.
3. Reservation or calendar system so too many functions can't be booked during the same time frame.
4. Ability for the customers to access all of their previous orders to make reordering easier.
5. Ability to automatically add a delivery charge based upon distance in miles, using Google maps.
The idea is to make this system as totally hands free and phone call free as possible as the caterer spends more time on the phone handling the menu selections and bookings as he does cooking and delivering food.
Any assistance that you can offer pointing me in the right diection will be greatly appreciated.
