SaleHoo vs. Inventorysource Question

Hello Everyone,
I have a newbie question about sourcing product.
I have received emails from both "SaleHoo & InventorySource" about the advantages of joining
each to find merchandise to resell,Has anyone used either of these companies?
If you have or have any opinions of either of these companies I would greatly appreciate your thoughts or suggestions.
As a newbie trying to learn & start in ecommerce it can be a overwhelming to say the least and not knowing who to trust.
I would really appreciate your help & advise, especially on these two companies.

    In my opinion, neither of these inventory/supplier services is the way to go.

    Instead, I recommend first determining what you want to sell. Find a niche first, and validate that it has profit potential. Next, think about the kinds of products you want to offer in this niche. Then, find a supplier of these products. Seek out manufacturers first, as they tend to result in the highest margins for you. Many manufacturers are willing to drop ship. If you can't find manufacturers, then look for suppliers that specialize in the kinds of products you want to offer.
