Should I reconnect with my tiny list of 75 subscribers or not?

Me again ....I have a small list of about 75 subscribers that I have not interacted with in probably 2 years....I read in a previous thread that if I tried to reconnect with some of them this may affect my spam rate and get me knocked out of my auto responder. With the list being so small should I not worry about it? I set up the list so long ago I don't even think I would remember how to start a new one and start from scratch. Or should I just send out a broadcast msg reintroducing my self with an apolgy and see what happens?

If you were in contact with them then, enough for them to recognise your name (and it's quite an unusual name, which helps?! ), and if you start off your email by reminding them who you are, and that they subscribed to your emailing-list, and so on, I would think it would be very low-risk indeed (and that in the event of a spam-complaint or two, your autoresponder service shouldn't be harsh about it anyway?).

    Hey Tracy,
Yes, I do not see this as a problem at all. No reason to delay on it , just do it.

Explain again who you are to them ( briefly ) and then move forward

Just email them and try to build the relationship asap, if it's a good list it will definitely be worth it. You should be consistent with mailings though

A couple of days ago, I sent an email ta a 50 people buyers list (I never sent them an email since 2011-2012) and connected again with some of my fellow customers. I also made money in the process (I pasted a part of the case study below).

Bottom line, they are your subscribers, I'd say: connect with them, see what happens and keep us posted.

    PS. the case study:

    1) September 13th 2014: Broadcast #1 to fifty buyers.

    - Emails Sent: 50
    - CTR:7 clicks (14%)
    - Sales: $36.95
    - EPC: $5.20
    - Unsubscribe:0
    - Bounced:8

    2) September 14th 2014: Broadcast #1 to 94 buyers (50 news, plus no open from the previous day).

    - Emails Sent: 94 -
    CTR: 8 clicks (10%)
    - Sales: $29.90
    - EPC: $3.73
    - Unsubscribe: 0
    - Bounced: 14

Note: one of the buyers from this broadcast sent me en email asking about my coaching program (in the four figures mark).

I let you imagine what happens when I import the other 300.

OK, so I think maybe I never sent them enough emails because I never got one sale when I was sending them out! Thanks for the case study.... helps!

You should send a broadcast where you introduce yourself again and also let them know that they will be receiving more emails from you from now on.

Also, tell them if they are not okay with that - then they can unsubscribe .. tell them how they can do that too.

Just be real and be blunt with them. That should help you get a good start once again!

This is what I would personally do!

    I hope this helps!

I wish you the best of the best!

    Cheers!
