How to delete duplicate subs?

Let say i have subscribers called list A.. Then i send an email and asking them to opt in into list B if they are interest with the offer..

Ok then, some of them had opt in into list B.. So how do i delete emails in list A that just opt in into list B? So when i broadcast email to list A subscribers who just opt in into list B won't get the email..

Thanks

It depends on the platform you are using, whether it's third party (GR, Aweber) or self hosted.

Depending on the size of your list, you could do it manually - Pull the fresh subs of list B, than paste that list into a search field of list A, than unsubscribe them. You can also contact support if it's a company like GetResponse or ConstantContact, they should be able to tell you how to do it within their system.

let me know know platform you are using and I can give you a little bit more information.

Both Aweber and Getresponse have automation rules that will automatically unsubscribe someone if they subscribe to a different list.

A simple Google search for 'Aweber Automation Rules' or 'Getresponse Automation Rules' will pull up the information on how to do this.
