Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY A LIST!

It will be a waste because you do not have permission to email them.

The absolutely best thing you can do is to start building one for yourself on permission based Opt-In.

    Hope that helps.

      Solo Ads!!!!!!! All The Way!
Do them yourself. Plenty of help on WF. Or yes, like many others have said on here. You can Also "Rent".

I am also agree with that. Its not good to use others email address where you do not have permission to email them. We have lot of email address but we did not sent a single email from them as we do not have permission.

I am not exactly sure what your questions means.

You can essentially "rent" an email list by using a solo ad and send out marketing emails to the subscribers on that list. Buying and using a list of subscribers who have NOT opted into your list will result in SPAM.

I suppose you are talking about ad-swaps?

Though buying an email list is the last thing you should do but if you still somehow manage to buy one, I don't think it'll be a targeted one.

i suppoz you are talking about solo ads.
Solo ads are standalone advertorials that are published in established
ezines that have a substantial following. Your ad is the only advertising on
the page so you are guaranteed to be viewed. Some are better than others,
obviously, and some of the factors that weigh in on this include number of
subscribers, frequency of publication, and general readership interests. For
instance, you wouldn't want to publish in an auto enthusiasts ezine if you
have a solo ad for your new pet product!

I will also chime in and say do NOT buy any email Lists. And like the one person said you can 'rent' a List with Solo Ads and that can be very profitable if done right.

Another legitimate way to acquire lists, most of the time, is to buy the whole website including the list. The fly in the ointment is if the original site owner made one of those blanket guarantees ("We will never sell, rent or share your info...")

This could preclude transferring an existing list with the sale.

Most bigger sites, especially ecommerce sites, have language in the TOS or privacy policy stating that the list is an asset of the company and will be transferred if the company is sold. Of course, in that case, the previous owner no longer has the right to use that list.

You'd have to be very careful with the terms of sale, but it's one way to gain legitimate access to a list.

Buying a list is probably the WORST mistake any online marketer can make. Never do it, never try subscribing people manually to your list that never even opted in for anything. That is a sure way to get blocked by autoresponder companies and get blacklisted by email providers and just plain stupid. Just no no no.........

Don't buy a list. I know as a newbie it's so temping. You know you need a list, but it's SO hard to get started. But it's NOT worth it. Seriously. Buckle down, get some training, and build your own list.

The worst thing you can do is to BUY a list. Once you do that and start to email them, you are spamming and they don't know who you are. This will lead to no one opening your emails or buying anything.

If you want to make some sales what you can do is rent a list like buying solo ads. This is a better way to do things.

Solo ads are the best but if you buy a list within your niche you can give it a try. It depends what your END goal is.

Send people from that list to a new opt in page and maybe squeeze some leads out of that?

This won't hurt you. And plus, if your call to action is big bucks (like an $1,000 course) it wouldn't hurt to buy a list due to the fact that one or two conversions in a list full of hundreds makes your money back plus extra
