Sending email to my buyers. Have not sent email in a few months...

I am wondering what advice some of you warriors can give to me. Email marketing has always not been my strong points. I have a list of 3k+ buyers of mine that I want to email and start emailing frequently. These buyers have subscribed to my list but I have only emailed them just a few times.

My goal: Not to make money off the first email or anything. I want to be able to build my buyers trust even more than what I have already. I want to send out useful information related to my niche along with the occasional specials.

How frequently should I start having emails sent to my buyers list?

Since I have not emailed them in 3 months or so, how should the first email be starting off?

Any advice and past experience to be able to help point me in a better direction would be appreciated.

I'm not an email expert, but I would send a quick message to apologize for not sending any messages recently. Then ask what they need help with right now, and send more emails that relate to what they need help with.

Well definitely don't just throw the list down the tubes. It is a cold list but you can warm them up with some great content. You could start off with an email telling them about something you are really excited about and wanted to share. I would make that first email non-promotion. In other words, don't try to sell anything. Work on building up a bit of trust before sending the promo emails.

      Hi Artex Jake,

I do have the similar issue. What I did recently was sending them an email telling them what I have done for the past few months. Make it a little bit personal, when writing. In addition to that, I thanked them of being a 'loyal' subscriber by providing them the report/data which was absolutely useful to them.

I certainly would like to recall the relationship. Not only sending that data, but also emailing them every day. A short story in an entertaining way worked. I provided them a report/article or video in another day. I mixed one of which altogether one at a time, and once every day. When I started doing that, I told myself to be tolerant as it took some time to recall the rapport, at the initial trial.

What I learn is that consistency is the key here and I just maximize my autoresponder software (regardless of which brand using for your case) doing this.

You have 3K in your bank. They are your treasure. Treat them well so that you can return and rebuild your kingdom again.

      Good luck to you!
