List Hygiene

I have a feeling that I'm paying more than I should for my email list
How do I do list hygiene and remove unsubscribers/people who have never opened my emails?

Also my bounce rates are 10-20%, is that a problem?
Thanks!

  • A good advice would be to delete everyone who has not been opened any email for 30 days and do so at least once a month.

There is a lot of people who abandon email adresses and those are just dead weight to your list.

    Hope that helps

    • what about the bounce rates? do these affect me?
  • Yeah, I think bounce rates do affect you as well because it means your emails are probably going to spam and that's never a good thing. You probably want to clean those out as well before they affect your reputation rating with your autoresponder.
