If your goal is to get 1000 subscribers, then I would buy a few solo ads. You can literally get 1000 subscribers in a matter of a few short days with solo ads.

Are these more responsive then the leads you will get from pay per click? Not so.

You can get 1000 subscribers with pay per click but it will probably take you a few weeks. It all depends how much you spend per day and what are your opt in rates from pay per click.

Create a squeeze page which converts at 40% (easy) then buy a 3,000 click solo ad (.50 x 3000 = $1,500)

40% of 3,000 = 1,200 subscriber list +200 more than you wanted.

I got 1,000 subscribers from Facebook ads in a week and a half. You can do it faster, depending on your budget.

One thing you might try is to use what you are offering in your signature. I mean you can use that to get "a high volume of quality visitors to your website", right? I assume a high volume would be more than enough to get you 1000 subscribers.

Aside from the great advice above, consider free traffic channels. I can move big volumes with them. The trick is to just build your traffic platforms on locations like the following:

- FB
- G+
- Youtube
- And dozens of other places.

If you need a quick fix:

- Media buys on platforms that service your market.

Buy solo ads from respected sellers, and make sure you have a good enough conversion rate (at least 40%). Create a thank you page with links to your click banking partners, and a download page with the freebie report (also with links to your partners). Send 2 emails each day to your list (of course with links to your CB partners' sites).

You can also start a free WSO, I think this way you can get quality leads.

Your best bet in building your list FAST would be paid advertisement , solo ads being my top choice.

However, I wouldn't waste money on paid ads unless you know your offer converts.

To do this you can purchase about 100 clicks and see how many opt ins and sales you make.

If it produces sales, than you can reinvest and continue to scale until you have your 1000 subscribers.

If your offer doesn't convert, than it's best to optimize it before wasting any more money on traffic.

No criticism intended, Laura, and please excuse the observation that qualitative goals are far better, in this context, than quantitative ones relating to list size.

If you specifically want a quantitative goal, at least let it be a profit goal, rather than a list-size goal.

A list of 250 subscribers with an average email open-rate of 65% is typically worth far more than a list of 1,000 with an average open-rate of 10% (but the latter is almost bound to be far more easily and far more quickly built).

"The biggest list" will almost never be the same as "the list that produces the most income" or even maybe "the list that's actually worth anything at all, 6 months later", and there are real, valid, reliable reasons for that, which are going to apply to you just like they apply to all of us.

Successful list-building is all about quality, relevance and targeting, not about subscriber-numbers and speed.

1. Bookmark as Many Yahoo Groups in Your Niche as You Can.
2. Join Each Group that Does Not Enforce Moderation.
3. Post Worthwhile Comments to These Groups and Use a Signature.
4. Outsource.

Is Yahoo Groups dead? No, not in the least. Gone are the days when it was a super source of traffic - we're talking before Myspace - but if you think volume and act ethically then you can derive massive traffic volumes from YG marketing.

Implement the above. You'll be glad you did.

If you want to start building your list without investing upfront, you might want to consider getting into "Clickbanking" there are many groups on Facebook with testimonials so you can find trusted partners. When you bank clicks, you basically exchange clicks to each others squeeze pages. There are people who are willing to send clicks first.

So all you need is some people who will send first and some who you will send clicks to first ( just put their link on your thank you page)

If you have doubts just ask. It's really simple once you get started.

Before thinking of just getting the fastest way to 1000 subscribers.

Think also that you need TARGETED SUBSCRIBERS, if you invest $1000 in ads and they are not targeted then you just wasted your money. Facebook ads it's a great tool to segment your target.

Also every good thing in this world takes time. You can also get some passive subscribers while doing a blog and putting some in content opt-ins.

If you want to take a cost effective route, you can build an effective list through a wide variety of free methods and solo ads (the quickest way does involve spending some money).

I normally start off with a high opt in squeeze page and buy some solo ads. There are many social media sites that post reviews on sellers of solo ads so you pick the best sellers for you, therefore optimizing your cost per clicks. You can use this to filter out the good and the bad sellers. You can also build your list buy posting in forums and using free traffic methods.

I find that the most effective way to a 1,000 subscribers is spending money on solo ads (if you pick the right sellers and a high squeeze page you can get 1,000 clicks with about 600 dollars, although you can lower the cost with click banking deals).Hope that helps.

Solo ads work, but you're working off volume. It's a less responsive traffic because they're getting so many freebies presented to them and takes a lot of relationship building and work to get them off the fence.

You're better off mastering FB Ads / Bing Ads... but don't just invest a ton of money in something like solo ads... Test your funnel first and tweak accordingly.

I remember buying tons of solo ads when my funnel was not a responsive one, I lost a ton of money and learned the hard way so test, test, test

BTW, if you don't have any testimonials you will be expected to deliver your clicks first. It's no problem because once you get 4 or 5 good testimonials then others will be willing to send first. Personally, I prefer to send the clicks first that way I can always look forward to clicks coming in.

Once you get this up and running all you have to do is keep adding new partners. Once you have delivered your clicks to a few people and they start returning the clicks this will pretty much run itself. The only thing you will have to do is add a new partner to send clicks to every time one drops off. I like to keep 10 campaigns going at a time. That easily produces over 1,000 subs per week.

If you want you can scale it up as much as you want. You'll need a quality click tracker & rotator and a squeeze page that converts at 40% or better if you want this to work at it's full potential. Once you get it rolling you can throw a CPA offer or two in the mix and make a little money on the side. I don't recommend this until you get a good steady stream of clicks coming back in.

I think you should try to focus on quality than quantity. Some subscribers worth more than $20 per month while some others not even $0.50.
Try to build relationship with your subscribers. Don't forget youtube to get quality subscribers. I used youtube in the past and build near to 2000 subscribers.

I personally love the idea of a free WSO, but I've seen some make thousands just by taking it up a bit to sell one for $2. You're getting buyers right off that way. But the FREE WSO is getting folks, who may not be freebie seekers, but just want to find out about you and what you have to say. (that's important too...could be good 'branding')

I'd have to agree with the majority of people on the thread and go with solo ads, but make sure you use a tracking software like Ad TrackzGold - so you can split test your squeeze page and know what the conversion rate is etc :-)

Building a big list of subscribers fast shouldn't be the only thing you focus on. You still need a followup system in place to convert the people on your list into customers.

So it must be very target, like dog training (example)
here with a very small but target list around 300-400 subscribers I must make more than $1 each buyer also from $300-600 per month not $0,50- 0,70 ($150-200) each buyer, this is too low to grow a business.


For $200 when I can book ads around $0,08 target, so I will get around 2500 impressions on facebook, with 20% opt in, that will be 500 subscribers.

Ok I must begin slow, small but target as possible.
A very target list of 2-3000 subscriber will make more money tha a broader list with 10.000 subscribers.

There are many ways to send traffic fast. Of course we will be talking about "paid traffic" here.

Thing you need to understand first is that just because you have a squeeze page and a offer that you will get leads. What I am saying is you are going to have to test your squeeze page and make sure that it converts or people take your desired action.

You can test with small solo ad! If you know about PPC or know somebody who can set you up a campaign in PPC you can cut your lead cost down by over half sometimes using PPC traffic than solo ads!

Once you have something and it is working then you scale up your advertising cost and send more traffic.

Set yourself up a goal and say " I am going to have 1,000 subscriber on my list by such and such a date" and then write down all the possible ways you can do this and usually its that last thought that is the magic winner!

Good quality traffic takes time, there are all kinds of crappy traffic that you could probably buy online but that would be wasting your hard earned money.

Sure there are some people who can get a thousand 'quality' subscribers fast but these people are very good and already have access to quality traffic that already like and trust them.

You may not listen to me and still go out and buy quick traffic.

Yes that will be truth, but with an 65% open rate that's are 162 newsletter readers.

But how many from them buy your affiliate offer?

10% = 16 sales
5% = 8 sales,

I think with 8 sales you will not make huge money , perhaps $400 when you get $50 commission.
When you buy solo ads, from that $400 you must re-invest in content, re-invest to buy new solo ads, so you will not make any profit, you must re-invest 1 year to have than a list of 2-3k subscribers.

After that 1 year you make profit from that 2-3k subscribers.

I don't think that from a good list when 10% of the subs buy, this is very huge, the most affiliate get 5% conversions from a good list(?)
