What exactly does the terminology "Clickbank Partner" mean?

I see all the time for example "looking for clickbank partners"

I promote clickbank offers to my email list, does this make me a "clickbank partner" or does this mean something else??

    Hello Joe,
It has nothing to do with the Company called Clickbank.

It simply means agreeing to send a certain amount of Clicks from someone else's List to see your Offer or Optin Offer.
And then ,you turn around and deliver Clicks to them.

They are providing you traffic from their List, and you are providing them traffic from your List

Sort of ... "clickbanking" is a way for people with very different list-sizes to do that: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ing-means.html

I think it's probably "Looking for clickbanking partners" that you've seen?

It is when two people agree to send each other a certain amount of clicks.

For example, marketer A tells marketer B I will send you 1000 clicks over the next month. Once Marketer A delivers the 1000 clicks marketer B will then send the 1000 clicks back to marketer A.

click banking is essentially a prolonged adswap

yes it is similiar to a swap but no money is exchanged. i think you need atleast a list of a 1000 people to start doing this. then you can build your list for free. instead of buying solo ads with your money. you can also go to fb groups and search for clickbanking partners.

Thanks everyone for your replies on this matter but I have another question related to this...why does person A send and then person B sends at some later period of time? I don't see the point.

This is just an ad swap plain and simple so why not swap at the same time? Is there some sort of strategic advantage to doing it this way? I don't get it.
      Thanks

It's generally a way for people with very different list-sizes to swap "fairly".

For this reason, it's common for the person with the smaller list to send first, and then after the number of clicks has been established, for the person with the larger list to send "a bit at a time" until the number's approximately matched.

If the person with the bigger list sent first (or if they sent simultaneously), s/he might achieve a number of clicks which the person with the smaller list was then unable to match.
