What all Millionaire Marketers Have in Common?

Email Marketers like Ryan Diess, Frank Kern, Perry Belcher, etc.

They all have 5 major but simple steps.

You would think this would be obvious to most people in the email marketing field but its not.

Step One: The Lead Magnet: The free offer you give away in order to get subscribers to opt into your funnel.

Step Two: The Trip Wire: A low cost product [Ideally $10 or less] that is a no-risk product for them to purchase. Converts people into buyers.

Step Three: The Core Product: [obviously] the main product you will be selling to your list.

Step Four: The Profit Maxamizers: Otherwise known as up-sells and cross-sells. These are essential. If someone buys a product show them another product they can purchase. Don't be shy abut this. As long as you provide value, people will always buy MORE from you.

Step Five: The Return Path: Since we are email marketers, our return path would be getting them into an autoresponder series and sending them emails. The return path basically is, how you will keep contacting them and getting them back to purchase more from you.

If you don't have all of these in your current email marketing I would highly suggest you stop being lazy and fix it.

The title is a little misleading.

The Steps you talk about are totally necessary but it is more general to the overall plight of the Email Marketer.

I think what makes some of these Millionaire Email Marketers you mention stand out is they continue to build there List each and everyday with intense relentlessness !

And they do not STOP !! Everything is geared around building it. They invest huge amounts of their Earnings over and over again into building it.

Like I said from my Observations they are absolutely relentless when it comes to this matter

oh yes. You need to keep re-investing, that is what makes a great Business person/entrepreneur/etc.

The minute you take the revenue and stop re-investing is the minute you stop generating revenue in general [in most cases].

Anyways, the title could be seen as "misleading" but it can also be applied to all kinds of businesses in many markets.

I know for a fact many consultants or entrepreneurs will buy out businesses and apply all five of these steps or whatever steps were missing and go apply them and literally turn that business around into a money making machine.

I once saw a case study where a entrepreneur bought out a survival business who had a main product for $50 or something and that was it.

They bought that business and applied a tripwire and profit maximizers and literally tripled what the business use to make in revenue.

So yes these steps can be applied to most businesses in any market but yes it works very very well with email marketing.

Great tips on maximizing profits. It just goes to show that with the right tools in place, and effort, it's very possible to generate 6 to 7 figures relatively easy.

Great Tips,...you hit the nail on the head. There are other points on the fringe...but you have outlined the critical path of email marketing.

What I am referring to is the granular detail around each critical path step you have outlined. For example:

Step 1: "Step One: The Lead Magnet: The free offer you give away in order to get subscribers to opt into your funnel.

You have brilliantly consolidated quite a number of items in this step.

Free Offer- What are the best types of free offers? What format converts best? How do you establish yourself as a unique entity in in the market? Will you generate it yourself, PLR, outsource? The content of the free offer ...any special considerations there?

Give Away- How do you give it away? Digital download, membership site, Pdf report, email series. One time? over time?

Subscribers- How do you capture subscribers? What auto responder platform will you use? Why? Is it affordable? What subscriber list to add them to? What type of relationship do you want to build with your subscriber base? Why? How? Whats your plan of action?

Funnel- How do you build a funnel? Type of funnel platform will you use? Who will build it...you or will it be outsourced? The content of your funnel? Split testing ...does the thing actually work? Have you checked the links? Can your host handle the traffic?

That is step one ....the 'fringe". In military terms...you have provided an over all battle plan... a "Warning Order", What I have refereed to is the granular detail that wins battles and makes money "The Operations Order".

There is a place in planning for both. Without the vision or big picture..the detail cannot be ascertained. Without the detail, the big picture will not have the definition to be achieved.

You have brilliantly outlined the Big Picture or the Vision.
Perhaps unknowingly, you share a the trait of all great military leaders such as Alexander the great , Patton, Washington and so on.

The Detail is ...the critical "fringe".

    To your Success,
    -Terrance

Interesting take. I love the use of the military background you have to add to in your explanations. It's different and makes it a little more interesting.

If you are doing email marketing [which I think you are] you should definitely have that military tone like you used above in your autoresponder series when talking to your subs.

And yes, was just trying to give a quick and to the point outline of steps to a profitable funnel.

Also, I'm a huge fan of Alexander The Great

Very nicely put, if the funnel and follows ups are correct then you're in business!

It's always good to remember the key aspect though to making this work that isn't mentioned.

Offer tremendous value to your list through follow up and with any future recommendations.
