I'm Dreaming of A Whitelist Christmas

After listening to my favorite song today on Youtube
(I'm dreaming of a white christmas by The Drifters)
It gave me something to post here in the Email section
of the forum for you email marketers.

Christmas is coming and I'm sure everyone
with a list (or currently building one) will be sending
out some type of email promotion.

That's good.

But, as we all know sometimes our emails make
it in the "naughty" spam folders.

That's bad.

So, just a reminder to all of you email marketers...

Make sure you have your subscribers old and new,
whitelist your emails.

Have a happy whitelist christmas.

    thanks for mentioning that i sometimes forget to tell my subscribers to white-list my email so it does not end up in the spam folder.

      Usually marketers will just put the instructions on the welcome email and
      never mention it again.

      You always need to remind 'em.

      You don't have to do it constantly, but just every now and again.

        Agree with this..

        I have seen some marketers put a disclaimer below their email.. Maybe we can start adding this thing. So basically our emails will have a disclaimer and whitelist reminder in the footer..
