My funnel sucks - want to give me your opinion?

I have taken the advice of uwa223 at:
http://www.warriorforum.com/email-ma...y-well-me.html

I've made an e-course with original valuable info.
Getting new students each day.
Using an auto-responder to distribute the lessons.
Planted some affiliate links.
Sending some off-course, but niche-related, material.
Even sending some "let me know your opinion on the course" email.

But the click/response rate is not as high as I'd like it to be (from emails), I mean it looks like people lose interest (especially after the 1st lesson) and don't even bother with the rest.
I fail to engage with my subscribers.
Almost none unsubscribe however.

It's my fault for sure because those are targeted people which really have interest in the subject.
They're also proven to be "internet shoppers" (derived from the niche itself).

So I guess what I'm looking for is either a good copywriter or a successful experienced email/internet marketer to review my stuff and point out weak points in it (I'm sure there are many).

Write here and I'll PM you the details.

    Make sure you have ALL 5 steps.

    http://www.warriorforum.com/email-ma...ve-common.html

    Also, your CTR drops after the 1st lesson...most likely because its crap.

    You probably need higher quality content that actually helps them. My guess is that the lesson you gave them is something they see everywhere (nothing special) and re-hashed information.

    Two questions:
    Where is your traffic comes from?
    Beside auto responder is there other ways in which you engage your subscribers?

    Kuku,

    There are many things to consider when structuring a sales funnel. I don't think you can PM me with the posts that you have, however, try to leave a message one way or another and I'll be happy to advise you.

    @TakenAction:
    Crap? Ouch! ... But I prefer dealing with the truth Basically the first lesson is just about setting up expectation from the course itself, and "selling it"..
    "helps them" << I think that is the key, seriously, the course helps to avoid certain mistakes rather than solving an existing specific problem. I think I need to re-think the whole process.

    @fulfilledlife:
    1. Mainly paid ad campaigns on Facebook.
    2. No. All I do is sending an email describing the lesson in short and why they better read it. They get to the lesson's page which is very clean (no ads of any sort).

    @Shaolinsteve:
    Sent you a PM. Thanks!

      Here's what I can suggest, my friend. Maybe this is not directly related to email marketing, but I noticed when I did the following, my email campaigns start to soar!

      You need to set yourself as an authority. Show people that you know what you're doing.

      1. Go post on forums.

      Get into the habit of posting messages and replies on forums. Help people everyday! Cool thing is if you help people a lot, people will start to reciprocate with you and want to know more about you.

      You can leverage these reciprocation by simple screenshot of these replies, and put it in your emails. LEVERAGE!
      Not just your email. You can also put in on your facebook!

      2. Set up your own blog.
      Your blog is powerful. It's your own home, so to speak, and you can do whatever you do with it. Provide values, promote products.

      The import thing with your blog is to present YOUR FACE.

      Then send your subscribers to your blog. They will start to know you, and trust you!

      3. Connect with experts in your niche!
      Yes. This is probably the most powerful strategy I'm sharing with you. Show yourself to the experts. Tell them you like their stuffs. Participate in their conversations, in facebook, twitter, etc...

      If you need their help, PM them, straighforward. Don't waste their time by respecting their time, and they will respect you and start to help you.

      Also get them to share your articles, and you can do something in return for them.

      If you get result from there, show it to your list!

      The name of the game is called LEVERAGE, my friend. The more you do that, the more successful you become!

    From the information you have given, I believe your problem is your first lesson. You need to give your students a I cant miss the next lesson wow factor. Especially on your first lesson you need to be giving them a lot of value so they come back for more.

    I always find by sending out a video you also create that relationship that little bit quicker, but it still has to be quality information.

    Think of it as a TV soap cliff hanger, at the end of each episode they try to give you a reason why you just can not miss the next episode. So your close and call to action in the video or email if you prefer would need to be very strong.

    Feel free to PM.

    Include the structure (from A to Z) and a few samples of your emails (let's say 1 - 3 - 5).

    Thanks,

      If your course really just "helps avoid certain mistakes" then it really isn't a course. An email course should have a specific outcome. While "mistakes to avoid" might be valuable information, it should supplement the core content of a real course, not replace it.

      It sounds like rethinking process is a good plan. Pick one specific result you can achieve by following a set of step by step instructions. Write lessons for those steps, and then add the mistakes to avoid where appropriate.

      Somewhere between the offer and the end of the first lesson, you are creating a disconnect. It sounds like you're promising a process for achieving something and providing a list of "don't do this" advice without first providing the "do this, then that" part.

      Once you have the course realigned to fulfill the promises made in the offer, keep looking for drop off points, just like you did with the first lesson now. Work on fixing those, one at a time.
