How to switch from freebie to buyer lists?

Im working on my first list building and funnel system.

Ive got a good giveaway, should get people into my freebies list. Then I have what I think is a good $7 product and even a $37 product.

I get the process but Im hung up on the logistics...
How do I get my freebie buyer to buy the $7 product AND get added to my buyer list in one step?

I plan to email the freebies and include a link to a salespage made by optimizepress. The product is a file I planned on delivering via email as the first autoresponder from the buyers list.

Im using Optimizepress, Interspire and Paypal.

Please consider me a noob when explaining.

    Where are you selling your product? If you're using something like Warrior Plus, then you can add an integration through their system, and the people who make the purchase will go onto a new list that you create just for them. That's how I've done it in the past, and it works like a charm. I set up a new list for each product, integrate it with Warrior Plus, and then continue to send to those lists.

    Exactly, if you're using WarriorPlus or anything similar you are able to integrate your autoresponder. If you are NOT using a system like that and using your own "buy now" buttons, most likely PayPal, then you will have to be set up with a merchant account and configure it inside PayPal. If you Google "integrate PayPal with AWeber" or Getresponse...or whatever your autoresponder is the instructions for doing this should be right at the top. With Aweber I know you can configure buyers be added to specific lists based on specific products purchased.

    The key is that when someone buys something, they must be added to a list. I'm sure Paypal has a way of doing that, but I use JVZoo for it's many additional features... so I can't tell you how to automatically subscribe someone from a Paypal purchase... but this is the key.

    You can then set up Interspire with an 'automation rule' that will remove them from your freebie list when they join your buyer's list.

    Simple!

    Take a look at Aweber Pro Tools, it lets lets you move or copy someone to a new list when they click. You can bypass the extra optin and bypass the confirmation link.

      If you use JVZoo, then you don't have to worry about this, as all your buyers will be added to your buyers' list automatically.

      If you're not, there's a workaround for this. In the download link asked by WarriorPlus or JVZoo, you simply enter the link to a new squeeze page. If they optin they will be redirected to your download link, while their emails goes to your buyers list.

      IN the squeeze page, just tell them that they are being migrated to your VIP newsletter, where you only promote the best products and provide the best value.

      Also don't forget to set the automation rule in your autoresponder service. If subscribed to [Buyers' list name] then unsubscribe from [freebie list name].
