Do you split test you autoresponder sequence?
If so, how?

I'm talking about all the split testing that a broadcast/newsletter message could have: Subject line, message content, etc'.

Split test the message and seeing statistics for each.
Split test and see statistics as a whole.
Split test just 1 message at a time (easiest to implement, technically).
.. so many options.

Having the ability to split-test the sequence itself would be great as well.

--------- Some nonsense you might wanna skip:

I'm surprised this feature is not available on GetResponse, AWeber or others.

Reading some old (back to 2010) discussions gave me the impression that none else in the industry provides this it nor cares about it, please prove me wrong.

Wouldn't you expect some innovation from these companies?
GetResponse, that's a feature that could raise your value big time (replies in this thread will actually tell), in my view at least.

Some marketers here seem to be very serious about their business.
Some claim (won't mention names) that they are very demanding when it comes to their business.
Don't you need that functionality?

I swear this looks like that niche (talking about the service providers) are stuck in 2005 or something.

This absurd situation provokes my inner programmer/entrepreneur!
But I guess the market is not big enough if this feature isn't available years after people complain. Answered myself

Cannot tell about AWeber, but in GetResponse you can split test easily. You can split test subject lines, delivery times, content and I believe from field.

Here is youtube video about it

    @fulfilledlife:
That is for the newsletter. I need the same for the autoresponder.

Here an idea for split testing.

Why not divide your list and send whichever message converts the rest the remaining?

Example : 100 people on your list , 25 you send message A.) and the other 25 you send message B.)

Whatever message has the higher response rate out of message A.) and B.) you can send the

remaining 50 people whatever the higher converting messages you got between A.) and B.)

Seems to be a good idea

What prevents you from testing series of newsletters strung together (basically same as autoresponder since you can schedule your newsletters).

From what I understand getresponse will automatically split the list, test messages and then send winning message to the rest of list.

Once test done take that message and make it part of your autoresponder list.
