Top Things U Recommend Doing 1st in Building A List Before U Blow Your Advertising Dollars

What would you recommend to me and other people to do first who will be seeking out their 1st product to market online and setting up their 1st landing page to maximize our advertising dollars and also minimize blowing our budget on paid advertising too quickly before we see results

    Test Google Adwords and Bing Ads to see if people are receptive to your offer. Put up an attractive squeeze page and see if people are willing to receive at least your free offer. If a ton of people opt-in your squeeze page, proceed with more advertising. If almost nobody opts-in... you may have to get out of that niche and find something different to promote. No sense in beating a dead horse.

    The obvious answer would be to set up and test your funnel to make sure it works correctly. It sucks setting up your funnel and spending money on traffic, only to find out that none of the messages have been delivered.

    Test Google Adwords and Bing Ads to see if people are receptive to your offer. Put up an attractive squeeze page and see if people are willing to receive at least your free offer.
    Get visitors from Adwords and Bing; Then create a squeeze page... Seems a bit backwards if you ask me.

    If almost nobody opts-in... you may have to get out of that niche and find something different to promote.
    Or, be more compelling on your squeeze page. Maybe, do better research so your squeeze page conveys the right message to visitors.

    Setting up a squeeze page and sending a small sampling of traffic, doesn't give you much information for the long hall. Starting completely over at that point would be crazy.

      I'd recommend you first try to sell your product with a webinar. You can sit down for weeks trying to create a good description for your product and trying to "read thoughts" of your potential clients. But it's much easier to grt in direct contact with them throu a webinar. They will tell you the best way to describe and to sell your product.

    The majority if not all, will be made in the back-end. This industry is always about testing and tweaking. So... once you have a sales funnel process in place, look at things step by step and work your way front to back.

    Ideally start with your squeeze page, run some tests. If you were doing solo ads, ideally I'd say 200 clicks is enough to keep you testing. Split test headlines, call to actions and see how those conversions plan out.

    Then, once you're happy with the conversions, start working on your back-end so that way you can work on being consistent with breaking even or being in profit. I've known people to lay down $1,000 in traffic before testing anything, which is not smart.

    So, take things step by step, otherwise you'll end up why you've spent all this money and haven't gained anything from it that you'd hoped.

    I advise you to start slowly and build it up as you go. You don't want to throw $100 on something like PPC only to find out that your funnel was all wrong.

    I did that when I first started and it hurt. lol

    I would recommend that you stick to avenues like forum marketing, the bum marketing method, or blogging.

    Only when you have a good conversion rate and sales funnel that you should enter into paid advertising. That way you can do the math right out the gate and see what you max cost per click should be.

    I did this and it really helped me know if a campaign was even worth trying or not.

      See if your Funnel " Pulls". After about a hundred or so Subscribers you ought to start seeing some Sales here and there.

      If you go a few hundred WITHOUT sales then you might have a problem. Hold off on advertising and reevaluate

    I would recommend setting up some good quality click banking partners first before buying traffic to maximize the value of your traffic. Having traffic owed to you on top of what you have paid for is a great thing to have.

    Before you do anything make a good market research, figure out your costumers the best possible way you possibly can, and I mean really get to bottom of their lives.

    Once it done, sit down and drawn a marketing plan. Figure out how exactly you going to reach all those people.

    Those are two things I would do before investing time into anything.
