How Many Clicks Should I Buy Minimum From Solo Ad To Test A Squeeze page offer ?

I will be building my 1st list and looking to find a winning product offer, that I can use to start building my list, I will be in the testing phase till I find a winner.

I heard a few things like 200 clicks , then heard 300 clicks also 500 clicks ... just want to know what is the minimum clicks from a solo ad I can buy,to test offers till I find some product that converts well, then i can scale it up later once I find a winner !

Like...like a Frillion clicks would do.

Well.. at least you didn't say "I just wanna know..." (I despise that).

You inquiry is just impossible to answer -- converting sales from copy, page elements/design, niche, product specifics, and on and on.... make it simply impossible to give anyone a definitive formula:

product "x" + this squeeze page + this traffic source = $1 Frillion!

It really depends on how many elements you're going to test, my friend.

Set a goal for yourself . How many elements do you want to test before you want to stick with the winners?

This is a very straight forward question. I'll be happy to answer. If I was you and I was ready to start "testing" the waters, I would try 100 clicks (if they are mmo solo ads) try anywhere in the range of .40 a click to .50 click so this will cost you 40-50 dollars. From there measure your success of the solo ad through tracking of opt ins, and sales. If you have a good success rate , you can take it from there. You can buy solo ads at UDIMI or here on WF.

Always do your research when buying solo ads.

Make sure you ask questions like :

    - Where did the traffic come from ?
    - Are buyers included ? If so, buyers of what ?
    - What is your average turn around time?
    - What % come from English spoken countries?

If you ask the right questions , you can filter out the potential bad sellers, looking for sales is also a good idea.

Why are you testing a squeeze page and a product offer at the same time. That would seem more difficult to control for, in nay kind of experiment.

There is an old saying in the statistical field that you need 30 successful answers to start having a relevant statistical percentage. If for example, you only test your squeeze page, and you have 30 subscribers out of 100 ads, you can reasonably predict that out of 100 more ads, you will have ~30 new subscribers.

I don't know the origin of this rule, nor if it relies on mathematics or just experience. However it works pretty well (and sometimes it shows you that you need a huge amount of data to predict something reliably) .

A couple of years ago, I was running polls with multiple questions, and it was awfully hard to have 30 successful answers, especially those that people choose very rarely. I ended up with several thousands of poll answers to get something valid.

I usually do 2-3 tests of 100 clicks from 2-3 different sellers to get a good over all average.

Well... being a solo ad provider myself, I have people test anywhere from 100-1000 clicks. I tend to buy 200 clicks per provider at any given time, so that I've got a fair amount of leads to work with and if I'm split testing anything, I can get fairly numbers from that.

Last week I split tested 3 different headlines... 18% - 26% - 47% so... you'll want to get in a decent amount of traffic so that you can keep testing, tracking and adapting.

Testing your squeeze page and testing your offer are 2 different things.
To test your squeeze page you just buy 100-200 clicks from 2-3 different providers.
After you are happy with it you test your offer with this squeeze page.
To test your offer properly you need to find the sellers that their list responds well to the offer you got.
For example if you have list building offer it may take time to find these sellers.
Mny of the solo lists now are interested in general mmo offers.
