Is TrafficWave Worth Using And Promoting?

I've used Aweber in the past as my main email auto responder, but after learning about the flat pricing and the income opportunity Traffic Wave offers, I'm considering buying it.

Do you guys recommend using TrafficWave as a main email auto responder and promoting it?

  • Aweber has been on the market for a very long time and is very good in terms of delivery and wont have much problem with email services. I tried trafficwave before but now i personally prefer aweber.

  • I've used TrafficWave and have promoted it in the past but people don't stick around long. The interface is dated (unless they changed it since I've been there) and the biggest factor, in my opinion, is the mandatory double opt-in. Many Internet Marketers prefer a single opt-in or at least having a choice. These may have changed, as I mentioned, since I've been there but this is my experience.

    • I do like that Aweber allows you to turn on or off the double-opt-in.

I would've been very disappointed to find out Traffic Wave didn't have that feature.

      Thanks for the heads up.
  • I just checked it out and have never used it before ... so thank you for hook up.

Got to say the interface and branding looks very outdated

I would not use this product on these factors alone

    • That was my first thought when I saw it too. The interface looks really outdated. It's a shame because they're price is really good and that income opportunity on the back-end is very enticing.
  • I used traffic wave in 2006 and the platform has not changed since which has limits. As was mentioned, new members don`t stick around long and it`s like you`re sharing leads with other members. I stayed with them for six months and never really made any money to speak of.

I too am using Aweber and I just love all the tools and support they offer.

    • Same interface for the past 9 years is way too long. If members aren't sticking around then I guess it's definitely not worth it. I will definitely stay with Aweber.
  • I just used it for a month..
They are good companies if you have a very professional websites and services..

Their back-office is quite old school and you may need more time to get comfortable with it..

    The cons:
    1. Double optin always on
    2. Name field is always required
    3. Lack of templates for their custom web form
    4. Can't use special characters for your 'name from' (eg: *Jeffry Alexander*)

Therefore, if you want to build your list in make money online niches, I don't really recommend using it..

I use it for my local subscribers (Indonesia)

  • is anyone still using TrafficWave ?

what does "you're sharing leads with other members" mean, does that mean that leads you get go to your upline as well?
  • Guess I should reply to this stuff. There is no such thing as "Lead Sharing" in TrafficWave.net. Your leads are your leads and are never shared with anyone.

There have been some updates made to the interface with more updates coming soon.

As for folks not sticking with TrafficWave.net, we have many users who have been with us since we opened in 2000. 15 years is a long time and we are happy to have these members with us.

    • Why is it double optin only?

  • I've used them in the past and the biggest turnoff to me was their interface. Looked like something straight from the 90s. It made the website look sketchy in my opinion.

    • While I recognize that opinions about layout are fun to talk about, the key component to effective email marketing comes down to things like deliverability. We shine in that area and get great feedback from our users about the new layout/look and features that are being announced.
