Hi,

How do I start list building without any website or generator?

What are the steps need to be taken with $0 investment?

  • You have to be realistic. If you don't wish to spend a single cent, how is this possible? To do list building you will need to have your squeeze page, thank you page, a download page. You will need to spend a minimum even to get it started, You need to provide minimum cost for: an autoresponder account, a hosting account, a domain name.
  • I get this question from people all the time and I'm sorry to say it but you need some things.

    As Peter just said.

    An Autoreponder.
    A Web Hosting Account.
    Domain name.

    A word of advice, don't let that stop you!

    List building is very powerful stuff but you need to let go of the $0 idea, there is no business that can run on $0 that's just a fact.
  • I do have a domain register with go daddy and have web hosting account but im having setting up the site to run and looking it professional.

    • Looks like you've already made some initial investments, why not go
      a little further and invest in a good autoresponder service, squeeze page, sales funnel
      and paid advertising.

  • Peter is right. If you want to take your business seriously, then at the very least you need to consider investing in the essentials. If you can't fork out the investment, then consider doing some freelance work or get a part time job to cover those costs.

    But I encourage you to progress (keep moving forward) as you learn. So rather than doing nothing, maybe start with GetResponse (free for 30 days), and then you'll have 30 days to cover those costs and work on improving your email marketing.
  • Can't be done realistically.

    You can try to wing it with some free autoresponder and Blogger with a free Blogspot.

    But you run the risk of losing everything at a whim.

    1.Autoresponder - $19 month
    2. Hosting - $10 month
    3. Domain- $10 year.

    Comes out less than $30 a month total.

    If you have to forgo a few meals eaten out at your favorite restaurant then so be it.
    It will be worth it

    • At $30/mo, that's $360 for a full year. Spend a week or two doing grunt work for a temp agency and you're covered for a full year.

      Or, at $30/month, working a single half-day shift per week at a minimum wage job will cover those expenses.

  • Get the bare minimum requirements (listed above) and then absorb as much information as possible about list building from the warrior forum. Make sure to over deliver in your free offers as it will drastically increase any upsells or future promotions to your list.
