So, I just started collecting emails on my website... What's next?

Hi Warriors
I created a website in December last year, people are starting to come and read it. So I added optin forms which getting about 5-10% conversion everyday.

What should I do with the people who subscribed? As for now, I only send them weekly updates of my website's RSS. What else can I do?

Thanks

    Hi Lasaint,

What did you offer in the optin form? Any freebies?

You should start mailing paid offers to them. Depending on the niche, you probably need to send more than just 1 email per week.

Don't worry about spamming them with daily emails, but instead focus on delivering real valuable content in each of your emails. And don't forget to recommend a paid product to them everytime you do so.

    Hope that helps!

    Hey Lasaint,

I would construct a minimum of 10 Follow Up emails. Give them some tips and advice that might help them in the specific Niche.

Make it good, witty, engaging, and personal.

You could throw in some passive PM links to give them some more advanced expertise on the subject.

  • You totally need to be emailing them to keep them thinking about you. As long as it is related to what they opted into.

Send them an email asking how you can help them.

Send them a link to a cool video you found.

Send them a link to a blog post on another site that mirrors what you have been writing about.

      Send them product offers.

Tell them how you became interested in having a website.

      The list is virtually endless.

Michael nailed it. Literally ask them what they want to learn about. This can be great feedback for future content, future products, future affiliate offers etc. And when they do ask for help or to learn more about a specific topic give it to them!
