Email software recommendations?

Hey guys. I'm a marketing coordinator for a B2B furniture company. We are searching for a simple to use mass email software . We're just looking for something in which we can build different email lists of prospects in our target industries, email them, and then track who opened it, who visited our website from the email etc. etc.

I was using a free trial of Send Blaster earlier today but couldn't get it to play nice with the email host we use (We use Smartermail and I hate it!!) . I was wondering if anyone could recommend an email software that is simple yet effective for tracking and that might work well with our current email host. Can be a free or paid software but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I'd highly recommend using GetResponse here, although many would also suggest you to use Aweber. Both are good, though I much prefer to use GetResponse.

For selfhosted solution, I heard SendGrid is really good!

We are using 12all maillist script for our 300k subscribers, it works well.
Interspire once a option for us, but still 12all has better UI design and functions.

I went with a 30 day free trial of Campaigner. Ran a small campaign email on it and loved it. Very easy to use and great tracking ability. Will most likely purchase it after the trial.

I would recommend reading the blog post below. It is not by me but by someone who has a great understanding of self hosted email marketing.

Hi, I’m currently using GetResponse to send email reminders to my subscribers. Although there are many email marketing software today I prefer GetResponse because it’s very easy to use. The interface is very simple and creating emails from scratch does not need rocket science. Aweber is good too, I heard. Although I haven’t tried it yet.

Are you looking for a solution that will find prospective businesses and email them for you? Or, are you looking for some software that will send out an email to a list that you already have?

Depends on your niche and price you are willing to pay for email service. But one of the best mailing companies are AWeber, iContact, GetResponse, Mailchimp

    Aweber is always the best.
    For my coaching clients...

It seems like you are not promoting internet marketing or affiliate offers, so in that case I would suggest iContact or Mailchimp.

Usually for my coaching clients I recommend only Aweber, because it's the best company for promoting affiliate offers, as it's not very very strict, but still has very good deliverability rates.

Been in the internet marketing for about more than a year, I have not used any tool other than marketo. But with the recommendation of out VP we have started using Hubspot. And trust me the ease of work has gone to another level. That's a pretty amazing tool to be considered using for email marketing.

I have been using rocketresponder for about the last month and it seems like it is working good, took a little while to figure out how to use everything but I think that would be with any new thing I use. I looked into all the mail systems mentioned but rocket is only 20 dollars a month no mater how many people you have on your list. All the others once you start getting thousands of people on your list you have to dig deep into your pocket to pay them. So far I haven't had any problem with deliverablity and they have a few templates that you can delete what is there and put whatever you want in it.
