Hey

id like to build my list generalizing in the Fitness niche, im just having abit of trouble finding solo ad sellers who sell clicks in that sort of niche, i am also trying to figure out what things to offer to my list once i have a good sized one.

abit of background info on myself...iv been in the fitness industry for around 3yrs now with a qualification in Personal Training and Gym Supervision (2 seperate qualifications i have gained) in the last 3 years iv put in research online, on forums, youtube and anywhere else i can find information via the internet mixed in with scientific evidence aswell as usual proven methods. Not only the internet, i have also used the methods i learnt, to myself... and i have had first hand experience on what works and what doesnt work. to be fair, i now want to get onto the internet and offer my valuable expertise online via Email Marketing and offer real and genuine advice to people and help change lives, i love this fitness niche because you make money and you also help people change lives for the better...i dont lie, i dont cheat and i certainly dont milk money out of my clients..there is a feeling of satisfaction i get when i see that someone has turned their life around..their health gets better, their general wellbeing gets better, attitude gets better and their confidence.

look you have to understand there is over 8billion people in the word, out of 8billion people surely there is a load of people who are looking for someone to assist them, help them get off there chair and go out and do abit of exercise whether its 30mins of walking a day to actually joining a gym (alot of people dont join the gym because of confidence issues, YOU need to understand alot of people in the gym have come from where you have come from! trust me, you will find alot of friendly people who are willing to offer advice in between sets, gyms arent only full of sterioid freaks or meatheads, it is also full of genuine and lovely people..potential training partners, lifetime friends, future spouse etc etc)

im sorry i have written so much, my question to you if you are still reading is (i thank you if you are still reading this)...what can i offer to my list? im a beginner at IM so im still getting used to how everything is done and how it works but i can see this being my Job very soon.. as soon as i get more knowledge in, do things the right way and find really good people to connect with and start building up my list.

thank you!!

First thing you need to think about is that 'Fitness' is not really a niche. It is a very broad topic with large numbers of people all competing for space and it can be very hard for the new guy to break into and get noticed.

I would strongly suggest that you narrow down your market to a very specific niche within 'Fitness' and then do some research to find out where people within that narrow niche hang out online.

Then you need to attract those people to join your list. The usual way that is done is by giving away a free product or report specific to the interests of your niche. Once you start building your list you can then start thinking about creating a product that fulfills their needs.

Until you get to know the specific niche, you cannot really create products for them. I hope that makes sense.

      thanks for your reply,

yes, you totally made sense, i specialise in fat loss and building muscle, so this is the sort of place where i want to focus on because i know what i am talking about and doing.

Fitness > Fat Loss or Building Muscle, i may do both if thats possible? or do you suggest on sticking to one or the other?

      thanks

  • Have you videos on Youtube? Fan page? Twitter?
If you have social presence then it would be easy to build your list by just engaging your fans.
For example instead of buying soloads you can start running campaigns in Fb, Youtube and Twitter.

What is the main service or product you will be selling? Coaching? or an E-course?
If it's the last one you can try Clickbank and recruit affiliates in that niche.

i dont have any videos on any social media sites, as mentioned i am new to internet marketing so i have never uploaded a video on youtube or anything like that.

the things i will be selling are eBooks, training guides tailored to specific weight classes, maybe bring in merchandise later on... before all of that i need to get set up with a opt in page, write my first free eBook giveaway to entice visitors to opt in, also add in 2 or 3 upsell eBooks at a cost to maximise sales. i may have to also get a website designed so i can keep all my products in one page with coupon codes rather than having seperate links to different products, or can you advise better on that?

      thanks
