Email goes into spam folder. How to fix?

Hi,
I have a serious issue with my emails going into spam folder. I sent a 1000 emails and my CTR was very low. I inspect by a little further digging down, I found that the CTR is 0% of the gmail. Can any help me sort out how to fix it. I want to know whether the issue is in the server, my mailjet.com bulk mailer or anywhere else?

Thank you in advance

What email software do you use to send massive emails?

I use mailjet.com. I've also tried vertical response trial version to see whether the problem is in the mailjet.com but result was the same.

      • you might be using an email list without obtaining double opt-in. If the case is like this, the problem is neither in the mailjet.com nor in any other bulkmailer. Google has a very strong anti-spamming policy. If you want to be successful in the email marketing, go with the double opt-in procedure.

        • Anyhw if you want to go with the same list, as it legal, you should at least avoid the following practices to minimize emails going into spam folder:
-Don't send any links in the email, Just send in introduction in your first email
-Don't use promotional words like ''buy now'' etc
-Don't address with ''Hi'' rather with the first name
Try to avoid all means which give a sense of promotion, try to send the first email as non promotional as possible

This how you can go throuhg the google anti spamming and minimize the risk of spamming ur emails.

          Cheers!

If you're mailing from a domain for the first time then 1,000 is likely to trigger the spam filters with someone like Gmail. Start in the 10's, then the 100's before you hit Gmail with 1,000 emails. Gmail have stated as much to this effect themselves.

You might also try signing up for Google for Business apps. You can connect gmail to your domain email. It helps with authentication and at the same time its easier to deal with emails. It has helped me a lot. You should also consider one of the top autoresponders; Aweber and Getresponse they have the best scores out there.

Once it is attached to spam how does it moves to Inbox?

Have you tried sending by manual method if the CTR would be atleast 2% for a 50 emails?

Always make interesting subject and keep promotional things far away in the description.
