Best day and time to send out newsletters?

Guys,

I have a few general questions about newsletters. They may seem very basic to you, but it's pretty important for me to ask.

What is the best day/time to send out newsletters to ensure that the highest possible number of recipients will open them?

What is the best day/time to send out newsletters to ensure that the highest possible number of recipients will open click on links within the message?

What is the best day/time to send out newsletters to ensure that the highest possible number of recipients will purchase the product featured in the email?

Does it necessary to send out emails every day? Will 1-2 weekly quality newsletter will be sufficient?

Thanks!

    Hey Peter,
I know a lot of Marketers like to go in the morning and then in the evening. Matt Bacak does this( twice a day. )

Personally, I go in the morning when sending out broadcast

I send out Follow Ups every other day. In the MMO niche, I would go min. of 3 a week !

Everybody checks the emails in the day beginning. So I'd prefer to send them in morning. And then again send at different timings to your list and see opening/url click rates.

Wait, hold on, don't send that message yet!

Most people check their emails in the morning, they’re usually trying to start their day on a productive note...., but this means anything unnecessary will likely be trashed or archived without being read....
My experiences in IM niche shows that marketing emails have their highest rates of opens and clicks between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Try sending at the beginning of that time frame (or just before) to increase your message’s open and click rates...

It's a difficult question to answer and will vary depending upon your reputation with your subscribers.
The morning - before 9am - is a competitive time for the inbox and therefore you will need to stand out in one way or another to swerve the mass deletion exercise.
I have found late afternoon to be quite responsive.

If you test it yourself, you'll end up with data that nobody could ever give you.

      • If you decide to send it in the morning, make sure you have an attention-grabbing subject line and that your newsletter has content worth reading and sharing or information that will help people solve some problems. Otherwise, it will only be deleted.

Diana said it well. What are you trying to achieve? Are you pushing CB products? Trying to build a reputation with your list then suggest quality products? Selling solo ads? There are too many variables to answer you question and even with more info there is no one answer. Timezone differences, subscriber preferences etc. etc.

Do tests, collect data and you will have your answer. Numbers don't lie.
