Is It Possible To Send MP3 In Aweber Email?

EMAIL MARKETING

Hi. I have a course I'm putting together and I'm looking for a cost effective way to deliver the course to students. The course consists of MP3's and worksheets. Is it possible to embed an MP3 in an email message so when a student opens the message there is a play, pause and stop button? Can they listen to an MP3 directly from the email message?

If not, is it possible to send an MP3 file to the students? I'll be sending them a file anyway for the worksheets.

I use Aweber and a large portion of my students are over 50 years old, so I'm trying to keep things simple for than as well as simple and cost effective for me.

I haven't tried it yet since adding a lot of additional files/codes might risk your message to be flagged as spam.

The best way to do it is to upload the files on a hosting and just send them the link so they can download it there.

Not that it does your purpose but it ensures that your email has a higher chance of being delivered.

Host the MP3 on your own website and then use Aweber to send your readers to it.

There is limit to file size, you can attach to your AR messages and I think that is around 400kb approx.... so you can't attach larger files like video or audio...

Thanks, everyone. I think I've found a solution, and it's not going to be email. I think I'm going to go with Jigsaw Box. It's a little higher price than I wanted to pay, but it gives me more options that email or other hosting platforms I've looked at.

Never tried actually, however, I'd imagine that it would probably end up as spam with that being said, try uploading the mp3 to a file hosting site first, THEN redirect the lead to that site (it's probably much easier this way). Good luck.
