Go for low priced offers. Even if you buy 1000 clicks, it is still wise to offer low priced offers, because there are chances of getting more sales as compared to high ticket products.

But isn't it more worthwhile to sell ONE high ticket product such as $597 or $997 INSTEAD of making making a 20 sales from a $10 product.

Remember they are your first time visitors, you didn't build a relationship with them yet. They don't trust you because they don't know you yet. So it is very rare that they will buy a high ticket product from you on their first visit. At least I will not buy a product of worth $597 or $997 from someone I don't know or trust.

I would way rather have 20 sales at a $10 product rather than one sale at $597 or $997 like you said.

After someone purchases something from you they are x8-x12 more likely to buy something more expensive from you from this point on.

I would rather have more buyers who I move up through the value chain rather than one buyer who is already there.

Create buyers and turn them into hyperactive loyal buyers.

My funnel is:

Optin> $10 product> $47 Core product> $97 Cross-sell> $997 High ticket.

No question start out with a smaller ticket item around $7 to $17 bucks.

It is not only tough to sale such a large ticket item to virtual strangers, it just makes sense to build a relationship in a slower manner

It may be just me, but the first price is also defining the first impression. There is price, and there is worth, and most often they go together.

How much does the base model, without extras, of a Rolls-Royce cost? Probably more than an Audi A8 fully equipped. Does that motivate RR to lower their prices or offer a budget car?

Impression is like tooth-paste: Once out, it's hard to get it back into the tube.

Yes and No.

The point of the low cost first sale is to give them something that they feel was worth much more than what they paid for it. Have them walk away thinking what a great deal they just got.

Now if you give them something they end up thinking was crap, then yea...bad first impression and future sales could be difficult.

I'm sure if I gave you something you felt was worth $100 for $7, your not going to be thinking anything negative regarding the low $7 price. Follow?

I understand the logic, but I still think it's flawed. Because one doesn't reason like that. You don't think : "Whoa, that $7 ebook feels like $100" - at least I don't. I would feel cheated to have paid $7 or not. Period.

Price sets expectations. That's my main point.

So there is no digital product that exist that you wouldn't gladly pay $7 for, that would have a much higher perceived value to you?

What if I had a product that I normally sold for $97 and had a flash sale for $7?

In one of James Canz products, I remember him talking about having tested over 10,000 clicks and $7 products have worked out best. If you can find a provider who can give you instant payout's that too is also going to be helpful, because you can put that straight back into your advertising budget.

Solo Ad traffic is a tough one at times. Some of my customers have had $1k+ sales and some mid ticket ranges, and some with plenty of low ticket prices. It will need to be tested and tweaked as you keep moving forward, but just remember one thing... never see every result as a negative!

You can always learn from every run that you do ;-)

I suggest you lower price on the front end to filter out buyers.... You can sell them high ticket on backend....

However realize people are not robots and they usually don't just buy on first ball. People byes from people so you need first to make relationship with them to buy high ticket....

Almost all big money is made on the backend.

first OTO between 7 and 17 bucks
second OTO between 27 and 67
this is a rough standard and it is best if the OTO's are complimentary to each other and to your offer even more important
