What steps should I take to begin email marketing deliveries? Please Help!

I've just started up an email marketing business to delivery Outlook offers to our database. The issue is that our IP addresses do not have any reputation yet and we don't get the way to get our campaigns to inbox.

We already have DKIM and SPF and we know that in order to get to the inbox and get reputation we must take secure reliable performances.

But how can we do it if we don't have any reputation because we have just started up?

I'd appreciate a lot any kind of help.

You basically need to warm up your IP before your emails can land in inbox.

IP warmup needs be done slowly but consistently over a period of time to build IP reputation.

There is a specific guideline and pattern to do your IP warmup which works as follows.

    It starts as follows:
Day 1: Send 20 Emails every hour
Day 2: Send 30 Emails every hour
Day 3: Send 45 emails every hour
Day 4: Send 45+(45/2) every hour
    Day 5
Day 6 and so on ...

Basically you increase your limit slowly and add half to the existing sending volume. If this is done right, you can basically send upto a million email from a single ip after 30-40 day warmup

PS: I run a email marketing service myself.

    Thanks

Thanks a lot neeraga!! but I have a question.... when I send those first emails they're supposedly going to go to the Junk folder as the IP addresses do not have any reputation, aren't they? Should I send anyway and mark them as "not junk"?

      Thanks

      Hello neeraga

I have the last question and I don't bother you anymore hehe: Should I use the same domain for that IPs warm-up? or maybe I should use different domains? Thanks !!!

Neeraj suggested appropriately, I just want to add that try to use clean email list consisting of email contacts of major email clients, and less local domain IDs. Yes, you can do this "Not Junk" and "Not Spam" but this could help on very initial levels. Major email clients have their own ways to recognize if the email is coming from a legitimate IPs. Make sure that the authentications are working appropriately, try using valid email inboxes, and gradually you will start improving in terms of your IPs reputation.
