What's the size of your list, and how much do you make?

I've been building my list for around 10 days now. Have 550 optins with free traffic, and have made a few sales.

I'm just curious here.. I'm getting an open rate of 20-25% which could be better I guess, however it's fine for now.

How big is your list, and how much do you make? I'd really like to know, so I have some kind of idea of how many opt ins I need to quit my day job.

I KNOW you can't put an exact number to this, as it all depends on the offers you promote, your open rate etc. etc. but it's still a numbers game, so I think it would be pretty useful to know how you guys are doing really.

My main goal right now is 10,000 opt ins, so I'll be working hard to achieve that! Might buy some solo ads soon so I can get there faster.
I'm using Aweber btw.

You have been a member for 2 years and the first thing you ask is ... how much money other people are making? Doesn't seem a wise thing to do if you want to make friends here. I never share how much I make and I know most others won't either.

I'm not active on this forum, basically because it's pretty bad. If you want knowledge here you gotta pay for a WSO. You can get all that info for free on other forums I wont mention here.
I was asking this question because I'm seeing a lot of knowledgeable people in this section of the forum, which is nice. I'm not here to make "friends", I'm here to make MONEY - That's all that counts. Your only true friends is those you have offline.

If you didn't even want to answer the question, why even reply? I don't get it. Stop wasting time, and go to work instead. A post count means NOTHING okay? Those who earn big are not even on this forum for obvious reasons.

Share some knowledge instead, like I just did in my previous post, I like to share and help other people, but it seems like you don't - Which is fine, just don't post then. It's as simple as that.

If its bad here leave then !! Idiotic question. . And I will reply and post as I see fit and share this bit of knowledge: You need to go back to those other Forums you so value and take a hike

actually it's highly recommended to build a buyers list instead a freebie one, any time i tried to build a freebie it results then that many unsubscribe very fast which means they give me their email just to get the freebie, i'd suggest you to focus on building a buyers, even with a small offer of 1$, the main goal is to market them after their first purchase, do not focus on the first sale...it really doesn't matter at all

Thanks for the suggestion, and valueable information. However my opt ins seems to be of pretty good quality already. I'm getting sales everyday from my opt ins ($1 trial offer from CB)
So pretty happy so far. I'm sending out a broadcast today (in about 6 hours from now) to 600 opt ins to promote this exact offer (that most have already seen, but with my review on it + explaining how it all works etc.) I'm excited to see what happens. Don't have huge expectations, as I'm kind of a newbie to email marketing still... Not to IM though (been doing it for 8 years, haha).

I should have started creating my list LONG ago. I could have been a ******* millionaire by now if I started with this just 3-4 years ago. Anyway, I'm glad I found this little gem!
It's way better than any other traffic method in my eyes, the traffic you can push to a specific offer is endless as long as you have a huge list .

Let's see how it goes, I can only learn from whatever I'm doing right now. I send 1-2 emails a week. Sharing good information, and methods of mine.
This is actually the first time I'm trying to profit directly from this list

Hey GucciBoy I am curious to know how your broadcast went. If you care to share.

What does one have to do with the other??? Your question and the reason you give for asking it demonstrate that you don't have any idea what you are doing.

Stop concentrating on how much money you think you will make and instead work hard and offer something of value. I wouldn't plan on quitting your day job, anytime soon.

And if all the smart, successful people hang-out on other forums, what the hell are you doing here asking for help while telling us we suck and don't know crap?

    A genius you ain't.

    Cheers. - Frank

    • I have a list of about 700 people. I made around $1200 last month from my list, and I only get 100 opens per mailing.

I sell my own products though, and they work, so my list trusts me.

I don't sell them anything I wouldn't use, and I gave them all a free 7 day training to join the list, which helped me build a relationship with each subscriber.

Some people have even made money with the free course, so like I said, my list trusts me, so the response is better.

I don't know why anyone would have a problem sharing their stats...

The only real way for you to know, would be to mail to your list for a month and track your success.

Then you'll know what to expect if your list was say, twice as large, and you could work towards whatever number you needed

Thanks for sharing! That's very inspiring! I think I'm going to do the same, and set up a 7 day mailing sequence like that

I have 741 subscribers right now. Not as many sales as I've hoped, but they are building every day. Seems like you are off to a great start.

My lists have a few million members and generate about 150-200,000 a month.

This has been built up aggressively over the last 4 years.

I'm curious what service do you use to send such big amount of emails per month?

The internet marketers that I really trust will say each subscriber is worth $1 per month, but as you build better relationships you can bump that up.

I know some IMers who have really solid relationships with their list who make more like $3-5 per month per subscriber.

    Are you sober?

Another persons income has nothing to do with you.

What is the niche that you have a list in?

My list is 1,500 - open rate 10%, click through rate 2.5% money made so far $157.76 :-)
