Shall I start driving paid traffic to squeeze page?

Hey guys,

I finished making a report, squeeze page, thank you page and a few autoresponders to build an email list. However, I'm not sure if I will get any conversions. I got about 20 free referrals from Facebook (I know it's nothing), however not even one of them opted-in. Could you please check out my squeeze page? Also, is the niche good enough?

P.S I bought the Build My List program and I have been following that. I did more than they asked to do.

    You need to be far, Far, FAR more specific in what you're ogffering in exchange for my precious contact details.

    Your headline: Don't let others Determine who you are:

    I don't know what that even means other than the same regurgitated nonsense flowing from the jaws of another self help, positive thinking clap-happy guru. I can read that stuff on thousands of blogs across the web for free.

    Your Sub-Headline: The way you feel about yourself defines what you can do in life:

    See above. There's no difference between this and your main headline.

    Heading On Form: Overcome low self esteem and control your destiny:

    Again, I have no idea what that means. How am I going to do that? How do you know what my destiny is? Maybe I haven't got a destiny in mind, which means this means nothing to me.

    Copy on button: Discover the secret to success:

    You don't know what I define as success - and now I'm confused about what your offer is even more. Sounds like you're going to show me how to make money or something.

    Overall, I'm not surprised in the least that you got no opt-ins.

    The copy is vague.

    The offer is non existent.

    Go through the product you're offering and pull out something specific and put that on the page - and if possible, something unique that doesn't sound like anything else I can get from the thousands of self help blogs around the web.

    You're in a tough market, and a massive one at that. Unless your offer is unique, or at least perceived to be unique, you'll blend in with the crowd and struggle to get noticed. Remember, this self help stuff is free EVERYWHERE.

    If I had a problem with self esteem, I wouldn't have to go very far to read up on best practices to overcome it. And it wouldn't cost me a dime or my contact details.

    Get more specific about your offer. It's way too broad.

    You have the squeeze page set up now, and you have an offer. It's time to make it a whole lot better.

As I said before, I'm following the Build My List Program and this is all they told me to write. Also, I'm using Sendlane which is co-founded by the maker of Build My List and the templates they offer, allow me to only write this much detail. They say to keep it simple because we are just going to use paid targeted traffic.

      Also, It would be amazing if you could link me a few really good squeeze pages for inspiration.

        They told you to keep it simple, but did they tell you to write that copy?

        Okay, you're claiming to help people overcome self esteem, but that doesn't motivate them to give you their contact details when they can just go to any self help blog and find articles and videos on how to overcome self esteem, without having to give out their contact details. No doubt they would have already read hundreds of articles on self esteem. And when they look at your offer (whatever it is) it doesn't say anything different than what a motivational quote would.

        Why should they sign up to your list?

        What makes YOU a better option to help them overcome their confidence issues?

        I don't even know if you're giving away a video, report, or whatever. What am I getting? Your copy is blind. I don't know what I'm signing up for.

        What's the BIG PROMISE... to overcome self esteem? Seen it a million times before already. You need to do better than that if you want me to sign up.

        Go through your offer with a fine tooth comb and pull out a mouth watering hook to grab me by the short 'n curl's. Something unique; unusual, that compels me to sign up. Something I haven't seen a million times before.

    Understanding what makes your target market tick will get you much, much further along than looking at other squeeze pages for inspiration.

    If you don't know anything about the market you aim to serve, it's always going to be a struggle.

    Think of one person in that market, and imagine what keeps him up at night staring at the ceiling while laying in bed. Find that, and everything else will become much easier.

    I would Add some other details in the page, a little more informations.

    About traffic.... it depends, how much time do you start this works?

    After a month I would start a paid traffic!

    I think the squeeze page looks good, but I don't know about the copy.

    If you were brand new & you read this would you have a clear picture of what this was about & what would be able to benefit from this?

    I'd suggest maybe checking out some successful sales pages, or even capture pages in your niche on clickbank, jvzoo, etc. & trying to find things that you find enticing. That should give you some ideas.

    You will need a better headline that draws people in. Be more specific with your headline and give a big benefit and you will get more sign ups.

    Looking at your squeeze I don't really understand who you're trying to reach. You have a BIG headline that says "Don't Let Others Determine Who You Are" but that doesn't really explain anything. What do you mean by determine?

    You're taking up prime real estate with a headline that doesn't draw people in, or call out the target market.

    Also are you giving away some type of freebie? I don't see any incentive for me to go on your email list.

    Try to record a video, or write a PDF that helps people solve ONE big problem they have.

    Maybe a video that talks about positive affirmations and shows them a couple they can use. Just an idea.

    I can keep going but those are just a couple thoughts off the top of my head.

    You Say You've Created A Report?
    Whats It About? And What Problem Does It Solve (If It Does Solve A Problem)
    And How Come Theres No Mention Of It In Your Squeeze Page
    It Should Serve As A "Bribe" In Exchange For Contact Details


    The Landing Page Is Fine For The Most, Just Needs Some Tweaking.....But At Least Your Taking Action...The Rest Will Come Later
