I Am Tired Of Losing Money

by JoJow

Hello

I bought tons of solo ads this year and lost a lot of money.. I spent around $1.5000 on solos and got 600 subscribers.. My income from the products on my selling page was only $400...

My structure of sales funnel:

Main Product1: $9
Upsell1: $19 (audio, video)
Downsell1: $14 (video)

Product2: $29
Upsell2: $39
Downsell2: $34

Exit Product: $7

Any advice?

Thanks!

Not selling the products for enough money.

It's just as easy to get a $1,000 sale as it is a $20 sale. You just have to put the value and content there and you will get buyers. Just have to make the value supersede the price.

Raise your price. and do more testing. $1,500 is not too much money to lose or use for testing on internet marketing.

You have a long way to go. Have fun during the journey!

So, what to offer for higher price ($100)?

More mumbo jumbo senseless drivel from the IM industry.
i.e. its so easy just put value in there and you will get Buyers of your $1,000 product

      Poppy cock !!
It takes an awful lot of time and work and the building of a Brand and the building of your name to be successful at what you say here !!

Of course it is. You know that to be a fact because you do it numerous times per day, correct?

I would really recommend using free email traffic to grow your list. The best way to do that is post your email or get people to replay to ads (I outsource this) and generate traffic with those leads to your products.

If they buy your products or want an offer on your list than they join ur Opted in List.

PM me I'll help you grow that list for much cheaper, almost free.
Let's turn that ROI around. I love emailing.

It doesn't matter too much what you offer.... as long as it's not just 1 e-book.

What matters is how you present your product to your customer. Somebody once explained to me that you can be a Timex salesman or a Rolex salesman. Still going after customers, maybe a different type, but most likely you'll still get the same amount of sales.

Donald Trump says "Think Big" for a reason.

Aim for the moon and land on the stars.

Why waste your time getting 25x $40 sales when it's easier and SMARTER to get 1x $1,000 sale?

It's pretty hard to offer a good product of that value..

BTW: My products are relevant to CPA - PPC marketing? Can be that a problem?

As I know that the people in solo ads industry usually selling relevant products to email marketing.. Am I wrong?

Also I have one question more:

What is refund rate of high price products?

    Thanks!

If I were you what I might do is start doing adswaps. Build your list for free by swapping clicks and use the daily source of new subscribers to test and optimize your sales funnel.

What niche did you buy solo ads in?

It's really difficult to advice you without seeing your squeeze page and your email sequence...

what are your conversions for your funnel?, how is each page performing.
if you can tell me your numbers I can see where the hole is in your funnel

ideally $9 for your first product is a good price, however I would put the up sell to a higher price

could you explain how your funnel is structured, you mention product 1 and 2 but you also mention there is an up sell and down sell

It really comes down to positioning and how you structure your message, you have made some sales so that's a good thing, shows that your funnel is working all you need to do is change a few things

without looking at your numbers and funnel I would say, up your up sell prices to 47 and keep upping the price until your conversions drop,

also I would add a high ticket product in your back end, does not have to be yours could be an affiliate product, but send them to a webinar or something this will allow you to get in profit

you have not got enough offers at the right price to make your funnel profitable

mate it all depends on a lot of things, few weeks ago someone come over and told me that did not get any sub on his list, then i told him to show me his squeeze page and it was too generic for the niche he was into...he pretended to get sub with a product that was way too generic and not specific to the point.

that was the main problem, if you not making enough money you will want to tweak ur funnel and do not pretend to make money over night because is not going to happen.

on IM the real secret is always test, test and test until you discover the way to go...

    that's it.

PS: Do you really think that $1500 are a lot of money in this industry? i spent much much more since i started and i still learning

    Hi,

You may raise your upsell price by adding more content, for instant, done-for-you template, step-by-step checklist, videos on how you implementing the strategies... To me, it will convert better if you have tools or resources that help your buyers to apply your method faster and easier.

And yes, make your sales funnel deeper by adding affiliate product that complement your product.

Enjoy your list building journey, and wish you all the best!

You acquired 600 subs for $1500, is that right? That's only $2.50 per subscriber which really isn't a lot.

As someone above said, you haven't given enough information to give specific advice but here's some things to consider, other than price. Those who tell you the price is too low without knowing the products are pretty much talking out their bums. Price may be a factor, but I doubt it is the major problem.

It sounds to me like you're only offering the one product funnel and that's it, correct? Are you giving your subscribers ongoing content and making other offers to them? Don't get stuck in the one funnel tunnel - offer some affiliate products in the niche or create more products to tie in.

Are your targets mismatched? You're getting the signups so you're doing something right in the actual ad and squeeze page. Is your product sales page and offer giving them more of the same or changing directions?

Perhaps your sales copy is simply not compelling enough to get them to buy. Or the product needs something added to make it desirable

Hope this helps to get you started on improving things.

You need to cultivate your list. Give them value. Make them want to buy. Give them good content for free in the email list. On the content days add an offer at the bottom. Give them a freebie day and on the freebie page give them an affiliate offer. On your sales day sell them something new. I rarely send items to subscribers on a schedule. Mix it up so they don't know what they are getting that day. Send to them 3 times a week. More than that and they stop opening your emails. Keeping your offers random keeps them guessing. Join some plr sites and get some freebie offers. Tie it in with affiliate offers.

If you create your own offers then keep writing. Find other offers that complement yours. You have spent the money on solo ads now you have a list of 600. Work that list by building value. There are many people on this forum just starting out. Put your list in your signature. Offer ad swaps to others with similar lists. Keep updating your signature with your subscriber count so you can attract good adswap partners.

Bottom line don't focus just on solo ads. You need to create multiple profit funnels for your list. Remeber to work your current list by giving them value and they will reward you with more income.

    Traffic is the key!

    Take AdWords for example:
you must learn how to spend not more than 0,1$ - 0,8$ for each single targeted click!

the same is for FB Ads and Bing!!

Another think is to have other more expensive products!!

of course you could also work with free traffic resources!!

I might have missed it, but are you doing any promotions to your list after they sign up? I know you mention the funnel, etc but I'm just curious. For myself, I make most of my sales in the BE through followup emails.

If I missed where you explained, sorry about that.

    Thanks.

I don't like solo ads anymore. All of them are becoming extremely expensive, and the quality of the subscribers isn't good.

I suggest you to use free traffic sources first instead of using paid sources
so in this way u learn many startegies of how to do business with simple tips
and tricks, but it will take time to learn these all,

Use socail media as much as you can, and think ur own ways to make some difference
    from the crowd.
